Thanks for your visit, faves and comments. Have a great day!

sunshine is a welcome thing, it brings a lot of brightness ...

Is it a kind of a dream

Floating out on the tide

Following the river of death downstream

Oh, is it a dream?

There's a fog along the horizon

A strange glow in the sky

And nobody seems to know where it goes

And what does it mean?

Oh, is it a dream?

Bright eyes, burning like fire

Bright eyes, how can you close and fail?

How can the light that burned so brightly

Suddenly burn so pale?

Bright eyes

Is it a kind of a shadow

Reaching into the night

Wandering over the hills unseen

Or is it a dream?

There's a high wind in the trees

A cold sound in the air

And nobody ever knows when you go

And where do you start?

Oh, into the dark

Bright eyes, burning like fire

Bright eyes, how can you close and fail?

How can the light that burned so brightly

Suddenly burn so pale?

Bright eyes

Bright eyes, burning like fire

Bright eyes, how can you close and fail?

How can the light that burned so brightly

Suddenly burn so pale?

Bright eyes

A sunny but very cold day today...at least the spring flowers are starting to make a show.

Tiny Violas make a wonderful display.

Have a wonderful day

Smile on Saturday. Saint John`s Wort.

To the end the week, I thought you might enjoy some vibrant tulips. They were only about 5" tall, but you could see them from quite the distance. Have a wonderful weekend!

Today's been the coldest day of the winter and is currently -26C/-15F and that's without the windchill added in. It's going down to -36C/-33F tonight. Yikes! So, I decided to pick a fire engine red dahlia to remind me of warmer days.

Edited with an added texture in Topaz Studio.

Thank you so much for stopping by and for leaving me a comment! Have a wonderful day and weekend ahead!

Baby, baby, baby

When all your love is gone

Who will save me

From all I'm up against out in this world

Maybe, maybe, maybe

You'll find something that's enough to keep you

But if the bright lights don't receive you

You should turn yourself around and come on home

Keechelus Lake and Kendall Peak, Snoqualmie Pass, Washington

It has been a miserable week of weather here with unrelenting heavy rain and flooding in the lowlands, and the mountain passes rendered inaccessible and closed due to heavy snow, whiteout conditions, and extreme avalanche danger. At times like these, when I am unable to get out to hike, I am glad to have photos and memories to return to. In these recollections I can feel the warmth and joy, and find some needed brightness to penetrate the layers of gray.

Bright eyed Brown Hare, very alert and probably wondering who I am.

I positioned this bright white Clematis to cheer up a dark corner in the garden. It has turned out to be quite stunning !

🎶 HAEVN - BRIGHT LIGHTS

Your words are high and running through a tired mind

A howling wind surrounds you

I'm trying to illuminate a clouded heart

I'm gonna find the strength to stay

Feel we're gonna break out

At the last step now

Feel we're gonna break out

I really wanna see your face, and I see

Bright bright lights, bright lights to guide me

Bright bright lights, bright lights to guide me home

Bright bright lights, bright lights to guide me

Bright bright lights, bright lights to guide me home

Your hands are high and floating through a darkened sky

So many eyes around you

The distant sounds as neon sparks light up my heart

I'm gonna find a brighter day

Feel we're gonna break out

I really wanna see your face, and I see

Bright bright lights, bright lights to guide me

Bright bright lights, bright lights to guide me home

Bright bright lights, bright lights to guide me

Bright bright lights, bright lights to guide me home

You shut your heart and shut my door

You shut your heart

When I say hold me, when I say hold me, when I see

Bright bright lights, bright lights to guide me

Bright bright lights, bright lights to guide me home

Bright bright lights, bright lights to guide me

Bright bright lights, bright lights to guide me home

Bright lights to guide

Bright lights to guide

Bright lights to guide

Bright lights to guide me home
