Hello everybody :)

Today I want to show you the next part of my Mandalorian BrickHeadz series. From the left to the right you can see Moff Gideon, Kuiil and the Client.

I had a lot of fun building that figures, especially Kuiil was very tricky because of his unique head.

I hope you like it :)

Since I posted the Brickheadz version of Benny, I’ve been asked for a Mr.Robot one too.

That wasn’t easy at all. Mostly because they have different size, and the first problem was exactly the size: «Should I build it the same size of Benny or should I make it bigger? » I’ve been asking myself.

As you can see I bent the Brickheadz form factor rules and I built it bigger. But I thought it was the right thing to do. The most different things are the eyes. I tried different solution, but this is the one I am happier with, though it reminds me of Marvin the paranoid android from “The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy”… Hope you like it anyway.

Many many thanks to billyburg. Without his help I couldn’t have ever built it. He gave some very useful tips.

And a big apology to Peter Reid for ruining his Keko!

Some of you asked me to do it and... I did it!

I put them on LEGO Ideas:

I think I have no chance though...

One more...

Couldn't let the chance of building characters pass without a Calvin and Hobbes. Took a great deal of liberty with the Brickheadz design for Hobbes, but I think it looked better than a stubby true-to-form one.

Build for the Brickset Brickheadz contest.

Hello everybody. I've received the Lego Mandalorian BrickHeadz set as a christmas gift and I really enjoyed building it. Although it's a great, I wasn't 100% satisfied with the figures, therefore I decided to make some updates:

For Mando I decided to change the visor, because I dislike the unprinted slope curved which Lego used in the set (a printed tile like for the Boba Fett BrickHeadz would have been so much better). Grogu now has a more rounder head and I changed the position of the arms so that he can drink his soup 😉 . As a special I also made a Cara Dune figure as a MOC. The birthmark and the tattoo are smaller stripes from an lego sticker sheet.

I hope you like it :)

Got the idea of building a shark with a big square mouth, and decided to make it a BrickHeadz, to see what a non-humanoid BrickHeadz would look like.

Also, this is a render. You can see the model in 3D on Mecabricks.

With my studies at university and all the other wonderful, crazy, roller-coastery things that God has in my life at the moment, I haven't had too much time for LEGO lately. Nevertheless, I had some time on my hands over the weekend, et voila! I honestly love The Mandalorian thus far, and I can't wait to see what Jon Favreau has in store for the future episodes. For this guy, I started with the helmet design from the NYCC Boba Fett set and then modified it from there. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

C&C appreciated, and happy building.

Soli Deo Gloria,

Third entry in the BrickHeadz Farm Animalz series.

I'm really happy with this one, the long neck sets it apart from the other BrickHeadz, and the model uses plenty of nice techniques, between the SNOT-heavy body, the neck built around a 3x3 structure, and the way the ears are attached.

The Brickheadz platform is a great jumping off point to try doing some fun, cartoony characters.

Back when the first BrickHeadz sets were released, I wanted to try my hand at the style, starting with a Scout Trooper. I didn’t make it past the helmet, however, and so it sat on my shelf, unfinished. I recently decided to revisit it, et voila! I really like how it turned out, with all the little details and such. You can’t see it too well, but he’s even holding a blaster (a BrickArms Uzi in lieu of an EC-17).

Soli Deo Gloria and happy building,

Greyson

A second pairing for the Brickheadz Competition put on by Brickset. I don't know if it will count or not, but it was fun to figure out!

Inspired by the 2016 SDCC Batman, comes my far better, and far more badass version of the build :P

No really though, I took the core concept and cranked it up to eleven! Including everything from Angry Eyes to a big ass belt, a longer cape, the pointy bits on his gloves! He's got it all!

Two-Face on the other hand was a blast from start to finish! Inspired in part by Will Kirkby's design flic.kr/p/LCpEsh but I wanted to go all out with his crazy hair!

Patreon has a full 360 view of Two-Face to show off all the really fun shaping throughout the build! :)

This little guy was my entry for a BrickHeadz competition by Lowlug. It won first place!

Brickheadz versions of the Classic Castle Wolfpack and Forestmen

I don't know if Die Hard is a Christmas movie or not but our family has made watching it an annual tradition. I spent all of yesterday's viewing mentally building this John McClane and got to work as soon as the movie was over.

I finally found a use for my old, worn-out white bricks and plates; the ones that make up his shirt are probably as old as the movie itself!

Yippee Ki Yay and Merry Christmas!

My second animal in BrickHeadz form after the shark.

I was originally only going to do one per year of the 80s but the Han I built was so much fun I just had to make a Luke.

This isn't quite done; I ordered some stickers that I'll hopefully be able to use as decorations on the helmet. We'll see! I'm also not completely satisfied with the helmet (there are some gaps I'd like to fill) so I may keep messing around with it.

Ok, so it's Speedcat, but it's fun nonetheless. I wasn't quite sold on the Brickheadz until they released this set. I think the customisable aspect is something that really sells it!

I may have cheated a little though and printed some bits... :P

Built these for Brickset's Brickheadz Competition as well as our LUG's next building competition.

Though, now that I've gotten into the building style of these, I could see trying a couple more...

Another BrickHeadz! This time it's a Rebel Pilot from Star Wars.

Everyone's favorite caped crusader. While there are a lot of Batman BHZ out there, I don't think that anyone has used those wedge pieces for the "ears" on the cowl before.

May The 4th Be With You

Although he received only a few seconds of screen time before being blown to space dust along with everyone else on the first Death Star in A New Hope, Colonel Wullf Yularen enjoyed a successful career in both the Galactic Republic Navy and the Imperial Security Bureau. Since his first appearance, the mustachioed officer has been featured in The Clone Wars, Rebels, and Timothy Zahn's Thrawn novels.

May the Fourth be with you, always.

Coming soon on my website Chibi Ed-209 & Brickheadz Robocop. Initially I wanted to build a Brickheadz ED-209 but this format is not very suitable for machines, so I call it Chibi.

Of course I will produce building instructions for those.

In the meantime be sure to visit my site and see my other Brickheadz :

"There's a passage that I got memorized, seems appropiate for this situation: Ezekiel 25,17. "The path of the righteous man is beset of all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil me. Blessed is he who, in the name of the charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

I'm back! After a loooooong hiatus of being a new dad, house hunting, career developments, and other events, I am back to building! Our LUG had a Samuel L. Jackson build contest, for which I made the Jules BrickHead. Seemed only appropriate that I pump out a Vincent Vega as well.

It's good to be back!

My second BrickHeadz farm animal after the cow.

It's a rather simple build, but I'm quite happy with the trick used to build the ears.

An update to my Lego Ideas Totoro build with a little Photoshop thrown in.

It's time for a little break from my current big building project. Thus I build three more BrickHeadz! The third one is Medusa.

Just kinda wanted to show off my brickheadz. Pls admire them.

The first version of this was dark blue. Then I had my world turned upside down and learned that Han's coat is actually brown! So I rebuilt this using dark brown and barely had enough to finish.

Someday I'll build a tauntaun so Han can have something to cut open.

I love the TV series The Mandalorian and like all the internet, I became gaga because of baby Yoda. My first project was to build a Mandalorian Brickheadz in 8 by 8 instead of the usual 4 by 4 and as you can see, it's really big! But after seeing baby Yoda, I knew I had to build one. And I discovered that the huge Brickheadz I had made allowed me to build the baby in 3x3 as the official Yoda Brickheadz is. Chance or precognition ... it's the way of the moc ;)

So I made some more Brickheadz inspired by the incredible Nolan Trilogy! These two in particular was a bit of a homage to two of my most popular BHz once featured on TheBrothersBrick!
