Brian Aubert of Silversun Pickups. The band that played before them (Cage the Elephant) WAS TERRIBLE! My ears, as well as my 3 friends ears were ringing for the next 5 days. I thanked God when Silversun came on because it was actually good music, and I could finally take a picture that I want.

The Brian Aubert-led four-piece kicked off proceedings with new album opener Cradle (Better Nature) before tearing straight into early hit, and my personal favourite Pickups tune, Well Thought Out Twinkles from 2006 record Carnavas, Chris Guanlao’s epic drumming something I always down-tools to air-drum along to whatever I’m in the middle of doing!
