Part of my stop motion animation for "Picturing Time". I showed the passage of time through the pages of a living diary.
My best friend Kathleen's boyfriend, Eric, made me a mix from my break up from a four year relationship with my partner. The mix always makes me smile. He is getting this ribbon for valentines day, kind of ironic.
A mile+ long sheet of 4' thick ice squeezing past a place where the river channel is 100'+/- too narrow.
This bench on the Bancroft steps has become part of Berkeley lore. Due to its discreet location, and appearance of privacy it is a spot where couples frequently come to breakup, the audio of which echoes up the steps and into the surrounding houses. People without homes also frequently use it as a space to sleep, and students regularly use it as an outdoor space to drink, leaving bottles and other detritus. -Sarah Noble-Spangaro
