We were canoing in about 1.5 feet of water here, with ice UNDER the water. Amy said she felt like we were on a polar expedition!
Break ups always go badly.
Original acrylic painting by me, Holly The Terrible, on two separate wooden boards.
Sold in 2009. Miss this one badly for some reason.
Maybe one day I will get over it.
I've always been on the receiving end of break ups. There have been times in previous relationships where I've thought "I should end this" but I never followed through. This time though I was honest to myself and I ended something that was wonderful but my heart was too blind to see it. Something I will probably regret. Seeing this person deal with the pain of heartache has done nothing but numb me and wonder how I can make that person feel easier. I want to hold them tight and tell them everything is going to be ok. All day I've been playing Little Dragon's Twice over and over and trying to come to terms with the fact that I've just completely destroyed someone.
Photo taken for Frozen theme in the 30 Day Photo Challenge. Original photo included the sky and dull colors that didn't add anything to the image so it was cropped, desaturated, contrast enhanced, and colorized in GIMP.

It's breakup in Anchorage. It's an ugly time here - lots of dirty snow & mud. But I did enjoy seeing this today.
