There are few entertaining activities for suburban teens in the Northeast (or anywhere). Some chose to occupy their time with legal distractions, like parking-lot breakdancing.

Sadly, this too is on its way out. We were both nearly arrested moments after this photograph was taken. Apparently, there's a police station inside the mall.

A breakdancing demo in the streets of Chengdu.

I took this picture in Prospect Park in Brooklyn. I went there for a walk and a bunch of kids from a summer camp were breakdancing on the grass. The ones who were not dancing were sitting in a circle clapping their hands. They were definitely having a wonderful time!
