Il sort enfin ... il fait presque nuit, il est tranquille dans les genets.
Il brame et son souffle reste suspendu dans l'air glacé.

Nous retrouvons ce grand cerf bien caché sous les arbres ...
Il fait presque nuit et on le distingue à peine.
A location featured in the Bram Stoker novel "Dracula".

Elle passe tranquillement juste devant l'affût sans deviner ma présence, son petit mange à quelques mètres derrière elle.
Au moment du brame, l'occasion est parfois donnée de croiser le plus beau grand mammifère de notre pays.

Au petit matin, le cerf est en pleine forme, il fait une sortie avec une biche et 2 faons, probablement les siens car il est présent sur la place depuis plusieurs années.
A small series of photos by the Delft Bram Bogart. He was a Dutch/Belgian abstract painter, sculptor, graphic artist, ceramist and designer. He was also known as Abraham van den Boogaart. He was naturalized as a Belgian in 1969.
The love for Delft is a recurring theme in Bram Bogart's work. References to the city are a common thread through his oeuvre; in titles of works, performances and use of color. For example, in 1984 Bogart exhibited thirteen works in the Prinsenhof with a blue and white color scheme under the title Les Bleus de Delft, a reference to Delft pottery. Also in Painter of format you see the Delft theme in Vermeer (2003), De Prins (1990) and Prinsenhof (1963), among others, both in the title and in the blue and white color scheme.

"What is that doing here?"
Bram is not really convinced he'll enjoy sharing with 'the new kid'...
The little white one is our new bunny. He or she (the jury's still out on that one! I'm thinking she right now, but...) will have to grow up a bit first before (s)he will (hopefully!) be living with Bram for real. Here's to hoping they'll bond eventually!
