Zeolite Group - Stilbite & Green Apophyllite

Found in India, Zeolite is formed from a group of minerals that commonly occur together.
Stilbite occurs as white/clear plates, globes, radial structures and thin tabular and rhombic cruciform crystals.
Said to be good for creativity, intuition, grounding and physically said to be good for the throat, brow and crown chakras, it may also be good aiding detox.
Commonly white or colourless, and sometimes though rarely green Apophyllite often appears in cubic or pyramidal shapes. Most Specimens come from India but can also be found in Italy, Germany, Iceland, Greenland and Brazil.
Pyramidal crystals are said to aid rejuvenation of the body, while both pyramidal and cubic are said to be good for travel, truth and brain function.

Astrophyllite is a complex mineral, a potassium, sodium, iron, manganese, titanium silicate. It forms in bladed crystals which often occur in start busts within it’s tan matrix rock. It’s colour is most often a coppery bronze but can also be golden yellow. It’s crystal system is triclinic. It forms in cavities in igneous rocks, especially nepheline syenites. It can occur in association with acmite, feldspars, brown micas titanite and zircon. It has been found in Greenland, Norway and the USA, but most material on the market has come from Kola Peninsula of Russia.
Astrophyllite is said to help one accept one’s shadow self and feel more whole and assists one in finding Light in the darkest corners and in deciding to express one’s full Light in the world. Astrophllite is said to allow one to face one’s darkest fears and reclaim one’s full power.
Physically Astrophyllite may energetically protect one against radiation and electromagnetic fields. It helps regulate the nervous system and enhances brain function. Astrophyllite is said to be useful in supporting detoxification on an energetic or physical level.

About Robert Ogilvie Crombie (ROC)
Robert Ogilvie Crombie was born in the last years of Queen Victorias reign. He studied science with an interest in radio telegraphy and chemistry but had to abandon his career due to ill health. in 1966 he had a remarkable encounter with Kurmos, a faun and later that same year with Pan. From this and his deep interest in nature he became a key figure at the Findhorn Foundation in its early years.
