As I already explained in my previous image of similar title, this is what is going on in this Northern Paradise. We passed by watching in horror and pushing the accelerator to the very bottom to get away from this madness as fast as possible. ... Call me selfish, call me a friggin individualist, but I will NEVER stand in a line experiencing such places in a melee ;)
Needless probably to add that their two minibuses were almost blocking a very narrow road while about 500 metres further there was a parking lot! Gosh I hate this new photographic vandalism!

erreichen mit dem aus Karlsruhe Hbf. kommenden IC 2374 "Wattenmeer" soeben die Insel Sylt. Nun sind es nur noch wenige Kilometer, bis sie am Bahnsteig in Westerland zum Halten kommen werden - 30.05.18

Op 15 december 2024 werd door FEK Rheingold Nikolausfahrten gereden. Vanuit Köln Hbf werden twee slagen naar Frechen gereden, waarbij de markante spoorlijn werd aangedaan die dwars door de Kölner Stadtwald loopt.
MZE 218 191 met vier Rheingold rijtuigen van Köln Hbf naar Frechen door het Kölner Stadtwald.
Was ist besser als ein Frühstück am Samstag Morgen? Genau! Eine 115 mit PBZ vorm Frühstück.
Heute konnte ich nach langer Zeit wieder mal die schöne 115 350 vor dem PBZ 2453 von Hamburg nach Dortmund bewundern. Dieser bestand heute ausschließlich aus IC Wagen.

140 759 of EVB arrived shortly before with an empty auto train from Lübeck, which can be seen left of the locomotive. Some more cars of same type were already at the railyard, which are now shunted by the locomotive to unite both parts. Later the ride will be continued towards Falkenberg.

Am Bundesplatz hält noch eine BR 485 als S46 nach Westend. Die von der untergehenden Sonne beschienene Slamdoor-Optik der Coladosen stand schon lange auf meiner Todo-Liste.

BR blue 85023 passes Rugby station with a northbound container train on 24 July 1986. The station track layout was remodelled in the early 2000s and the overall roof was sadly demolished.
Kurz vor dem Ende des Betriebs des «TEE Rheingold», welcher nur Wagen 1.Klasse führte, konnte ich diese Aufnahme am 25.5.1987 in Rheinweiler anfertigen. DB 103 199 bespannte diesen herrlichen Zug, welcher an diesem Tage sogar noch mit Blumenschmuck ausgestattet war! Der Zuglauf war meines Wissens «Amsterdam – Köln – Mainz – Basel»
