This campspot counts as wild-camping lite! its not an official campsite but regulars at the Lord Stones Cafe are welcome to use this field behind the cafe with permission and without charge. Right on a number of classic routes: Cleveland Way, Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk and the Lyke Wake Walk all pass directly through the cafe grounds the place is a great boon to walkers. Lance on the left and Gaz Holt pegging out his Laser-Comp on the right, fellow members of The Backpackers Club here for a weekend of socialising and a bit of waking too.
