Bounty was an enlarged reconstruction of the original 1787 Royal Navy Bounty.

Built in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia in 1960, she sank off the coast of North Carolina during Hurricane Sandy in 2012.

HMS Bounty was commissioned by the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film studio for the 1962 film Mutiny on the Bounty.

Mike's image was taken during the annual "Tall Ships Parade of Sails" in San Francisco Bay in 2010.

C'était le 19 septembre 2010, lors de "Les grand voiliers sur les quais" dans le Vieux-Port de Montréal...Maintenant il n'est qu'un souvenir...

Le Bounty était une reconstruction agrandie de 23-40 % de le HMS Bounty original, voilier de la Royal Navy (1787),un des plus célèbres navires dans le monde et connu pour la mutinerie qui a eu lieu à bord, à Tahiti en 1789...

Construit à Lunenburg, en Nouvelle-Écosse en 1960, le Bounty a sombré au large de la côte de la Caroline du Nord pendant l'ouragan Sandy, le 29 octobre 2012.

Going down my track, there are lots of really old apple trees, like this one. At the moment, they are absolutely laden.

The cattle have a wonderful time, eating the windfall - sometimes, they appear a little intoxicated!

Now and again, I make mint jelly or apple and bramble jelly from these lovely apples. Too tart as eating apples, but lovely for casseroles...

When I am out and about, like the weeks in Scotland, my main interest is never far from my brain, I always scan for ‘bounty, so, I brought back, found on the ground: dried leaves that i think are different, Maple-copters, Mountain Ash berries, small cones and rose-bottles.

These here made me think of the chrysalis of moth or butterfly....

No, not a proper butterfly one, but a leaf (less than 3cm that thinks it is a Chrysalis, LOL

The pupae of different groups of insects have different names such as chrysalis for the pupae of butterflies.

The term is derived from the metallic gold-coloration found in the pupae of many butterflies, referred to by the Greek term χρυσός (chrysós) for gold.
