Langdale boulders.have recently been designated by English Heritage as an ancient monument of national importance, following the discovery of prehistoric 'cup and ring' markings. These consist of indentations and concentric circles, which date to about 2,500-5,000 years ago.
On the idyllic Seychelles island of La Digue, huge granite boulders complement the beauty of translucent water, white sandy beaches and jungle vegetation
The Dunstanburgh Castle end of Embleton Bay is famous for its black rounded boulders and a wonderful geological upthrust & folding which you can't see as it was just behind me!

These ankle breakers are usually photographed when wet and black, often with Dunstanburgh Castle as a backdrop.

"Paalhoofden" @ golden Hour
These breakwaters can be found on almost all beaches in Zeeland. They are wooden piles on an embankment made of stones and boulders, also called pile heads. Depending on the ebb and flow, the piles are completely or half submerged.
A look back down to the head of Little Loch Broom and its whitecaps. It's not that little, being 9.5 miles long from mouth to its head.
I guess it could also be entitled "A sweeping view" 😄
Moeraki Boulders situated between Moeraki and Hampden, New Zealand. These large special boulders lay along a stretch of Koekohe Beach.

Boulder Falls is located 11 miles west of Boulder, on the north side of Boulder Canyon Drive (SR 119) between Boulder and Nederland.

It consists of gigantic tuff boulders, charming meadows and attractive ponds. This wonderful scene can be reached in 2.5 hours on foot from Vatnsskarð pass.

No idea if this Moeraki Boulder came from the sea and was lodged in the land or if it was in the hillside and erosion is starting to reveal it
