charmingmrgru: Lexi is much to small to just keep outside day in and day out. Plus she's just a small puppy. Not to mention a pug mix. She has a smooshed face and these type of breeds do not do well outside at all. She needs a lot I mean A LOT of attention just like a baby would. Potty training is just one step into having a puppy :)....

1 Year ago today I made the bold decision to drive over an hour to pick up this handsome 1 1/2 year old pup. His previous owners couldn't handle his high energy and loved him enough to find an appropriate home for him. I was nervous but as soon as I saw him all changed. He truly made me happy and still has till this very day. charmingmrgru: @no_ham thanks! @breezerkers_sheamus thank you ;)! I made the wings out of foam board, glue sticks, chopsticks and a hollowed out pen to thread the ribbon through. I painted it and attached it to his harness with the ribbon. It sat on him like a saddle.

charmingmrgru: @greg_ham thanks!!! I cook them in a toaster oven I got for free (can't beat that!) due to the fumes and I just don't want to cross my food grade oven with the polymer clay. I normally don't have any issues with over baking..just human error that morning. I also made a few molds so I'm able to just do a stone pour up of them. If I come across a pup that has particularly special features then I do a rough sculpt of them, bake and make a suck down mold so I'm able to cast it again if I wanted too. My favorite part is painting them for sure! That's when they really start coming together :)
