yeah i am bored like the boy because my phone is unserviceable. While Chase Jarvis says that "The best camera is the one that you have with you." and Zack Arias says that "The best camera is the one that you left at home."
So I guess its time to take the plunge to buy a camera since i have none LOL! Thats right, given a choice I would choose a camera over a phone anyday. ( I really hate my phone to ring...piss me off especially when i was about to take picture, i rather live without a phone seriously.) btw my phone is spoilt for 6mths already LOL! So nobody can really reach me and i kinda enjoying the days w/o phone addiction. "WTF man there is nothing on the phone! Stop looking at it!"
I did some research and Fuji x100S is top of my buying list, rumour has it that DSLR is dead but surely there is no Chicken Little to it. It will take some time for this purchase tho... as its a long thought process.... something like a billion dollar question. I dont really like being a slave to the tech revolution and start a camera addiction.
I was like thinking, if i can view the world best pictures on the internet and exhibition so why do i need a camera? just to show my work to other ppl? trying to be the best? making a living out of it? or the making of a Vivian Maier II ( taking away the nanny part. of course. )
After a few years of amateurish photo taking, i come to understand myself a bit more. A more of a peoples' person, a love for documenting people and probably towards humanity in the future.
But when the moment of humanity sets before my very eyes, would it makes me a robot to pickup the camera and snap away rather than feeling emotionally attached to the situation. Do i have to feel excited, passionate and an adrenalin rush to get the picture i want even its an unfortunate event?
Would documenting humanity takes away the humane part of me? I didnt know that buying a camera is such a tiring and complicated process, its certainly easier to just talk about camera specs and shoot something that is pretty to one's eyes. Guess that i have to keep on thinking like the gal. But i am happy because .....

Boreal Chickadees are birds of the Boreal coniferous forests. In North America their range is mostly in Canada. They are distinguished from Black-capped Chickadees and Mountain Chickadees by their brown caps and generally brownish bodies. These Chickadees are more reserved and less social than the Black-capped Chickadees and are more insectivorous and less likely to eat seeds. They are not as attracted to feeders as other Chickadee species. I know for sure they will eat sunflower seeds here in winter. Their call is similar to the Black-capped. If you think about Donald Duck imitating a Black-capped, then that is what it sounds like to me.
