If it weren't for Macro Mondays, I wouldn't have noticed the tiny markings or engravings on the bottoms of these shoes or boots. .

Because of my asthma inhaler this morning, you might notice shaky drops of water. Not one of which reached the dandelion seed head I'd tried to add for size.

My sister gave me a long necklace with multiple Monopoly and Clue game pieces tied to long silken thread. The pieces come from the two games but were painted. If you peer closely, you can see the paint chipping from the shoe tips. (We can't find the Monopoly game in one of the moving boxes...yet.)

This kitten loved to hide in my snakeskin cowboy boots. I named her Boots. It was a sad day when she outgrew them. No offence to anyone who has a snake for a pet, but if I found a poisonous one in the wild hissing at me or my horse I'd make boots out of it. lol It is a good thing my plan to move to Texas to work on the best horse ranch didn't turn out. Big snakes are not my thing. Little garden snakes that are harmless are ok.

Meet Boots. Boots is a well known resident of Port Aransas, Texas and is frequently sighted at Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center. That's were I took this shot, safely from the elevated boardwalk. Boots is estimated to be around 50 years old and 12 feet long.

These boots are frustratingly gorgeous. They take an age to put on because of the cord wrapping but once on they're lovely.

Bought from JC Penney a few years ago, these boots are so versatile. Theay can be worn pirate style, overknees with the collar up or sluched down to the calf. Very comfortable heel. My only gripe is that they are unlined but you can't have everything.

My favorite pair of boots from the game Skyrim, the "Imperial Light Armor". The leather looks very supple and well-cared for.
