I was totally surprised by the morning exercises of this beautiful Goshawk! Camera settings OK but unprepared to capture the wings going up in the sky!
Nevertheless a nice moment to watch, capture and to share!

I don't know why they had to feed us spaghetti today! We thought it was going to be a great meal. As it turns out, we have to run an extra 5 miles today as well as run the obstacle course and shooting drill. I'm one of very few men out here who hasn't lost his supper yet.

For the Strobist Bootcamp, assignment 2 "Background"
It turns out (my imaginary) Pat Coolwall makes grafitti-resistant glass walls, as seen in the background.
Please let me know if you think some of the alternatives would work better. Alternatives can be found here.
This one is not very tight, but on the other hand that allows for cropping and leaves room for typography. And I like the grafitti idea on the right. Thoughts?
