Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is a green day at Color my World Daily and we all need vitamins. So why not an orange, egg and lemon mix to boost our vitamins intake. And since I have a very busy day ahead (with some major laundry folding, vacuuming and a 10km run) I will need the extra energy and motivation for sure!!

Happy green day !! See you later my friends !!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !!

I have no idea what this plant is but tucked into the bushes, the reddish leaves caught my attention. In this HSS edit, I've emphasized the shadowy branches I was shooting through and boosted a few sliders in LR to deepen the colors! Hope everyone has a Happy Sliders Sunday!

I spotted this Red-Tailed hawk on a tree branch, concentrated on its prey moving in the grass at the edge of an irrigation canal. Hawks usually fly away when they spot someone from far away. This time the prey seemed to have mesmerized the hawk. That gave me time to close in and hide behind the next tree’s trunk when the hawk decided to strike, disapearing in the tall and dense grass. I layed down low and waited for movement. He finally showed up with whatever was left of a vole or mole.

What accelerates 0-60 in ~2 seconds, has around 1000hp, and has a price starting at over a lofty 1/2 million? A Ferrari SF90, that's what! Get out your checkbooks, gents!

Not all plug-in hybrids are built for efficiency; some are built for speed. The Ferrari SF90 is one such counterexample, combining a twin-turbo V-8 with a trio of electric motors and a 6.5-kWh battery pack to spit out 986 horsepower in standard trim. The SF90XX models, laser-focused on race-track driving, get an extra 30 horsepower—as if they needed it—awarding the SF90 lineup entry in the four-digit power club. The massive power output goes to all four wheels with the front tires driven electrically. Double-X versions also have a stripped-down interior and other changes in the pursuit of all-out lap time. The standard SF90 is now available only as a convertible called the Spider, with a luxurious cabin lined in leather and featuring an unconventional screen-and-control layout. The XX can still be had in Stradale coupe form or as a Spider. Whichever version of the SF90 you fancy in your wild imaginings, know that the powertrain, aerodynamics, and chassis wizardry come together to make one of the best mid-engine sports cars in the world—Ferrari or otherwise.

The standard SF90 Spider comes packed with enough amenities to make it a satisfying pick, especially if you plan to keep to the street more than a race track. If you want to give this Ferrari a more customized appearance, you can select from a host of upholstery choices and paint hues. There are several different wheel designs, and the list of available upgrades includes carbon-fiber components, a titanium exhaust, a digital rearview mirror, and brake calipers in a variety of colors. Which one to buy? There’s no wrong answer.

With the SF90, power comes from a massively powerful V-8 and three electric motors. The twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 generates a mighty 769 horsepower on its own, and the trio of electric motors provides an additional 217 horsepower. In the end, the gas/electric powertrain generates a net output of 986 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. Upgrading to the SF90 XX unlocks 30 more horsepower for a total of 1016 hp and adds a feature Ferrari calls Extra Boost, which temporarily increases power output to help regain speed when exiting a corner. Power is sent to all four wheels, making this the first mid-engine Ferrari with all-wheel drive. An eight-speed automatic transmission oversees the proceedings. Different driving modes allow you to tailor the car's handling to suit your preferences. Use the mode selector to dial up EV Only, Hybrid, Performance, or, last but not least, Qualify—a setting that allows you to fully exploit the car's performance capabilities.

f you need a confidence boost, try riding an elephant in public. You’ll be the talk of the town! You’ll be the coolest girl around!

There are a lot of Blythes to name here! They are Tsumori Spirit, Cadence Majorette, Yellow Marshmallow (Middie), Cream Cheese and Jam, Fighting Milk Saranghae, and Cool Pool Lemonade (Middie). The background is a poster. I found the elephant at the antique mall. For “Confidence Boost” and Animal Kingdom”.

Sorry flickr friends for not being around as much as i would like!

A day of frustration....

I dont normally like a photo split in half like this, but for me it just works.

Then Mother nature gave me an opportunity to take this..

Very Similar to "Portal" But it isnt often you get conditions like this here, So i am very thankful!

And yes, this is largely untouched except for a crop, sharpening and a little saturation boost, this 14mm is gold!

1937 CORD 812 Supercharged Sportsman Coupe

The new Cord 810’s front-wheel drive was a decided improvement over previous systems, replacing double universal joints with constant-velocity units that enabled independent transverse springing, an industry first. So too were the Lycoming 288 CI V-8 engine and Bendix preselector gearbox. Fitted with a 2-barrel carburetor, aluminum heads, intake and pistons, and rated at 125 HP in naturally aspirated form, the Lycoming V-8’s output leapt to 170 HP with supercharging.

With a new “812” designation, the 1937 Cord offered a new optional Schwitzer-Cummins centrifugal supercharger giving up to 6 PSI boost and increasing peak output to upwards of 190 HP and 272 lb-ft of torque, figures that contributed to a series of Bonneville records set by racer Ab Jenkins in 1937, including a 24-hour average speed of 101.72 MPH that stood for 16 years.

........... Getting to the "out-takes" at this point.

City Island Bridge, Bow Creek

It’s not just about stealing cars — it’s about timing, trust, and the thrill of the chase.

Looking good on both ends back on May 4, 1980 as the daily eastbound Toledo Peroria & Western freight headed by their lone GP30 gets an old fashioned boost out of Peoria by Nickle Plate 765 which had arrived the day before and would pull excursions the following weekend.

These where made at ExPornStar on Newyearseve in Happy Dayzz. A club in Culemborg.

The vitamin boost doesn't just apply to grapes and tomatoes. Photography often gives me a positive boost (and sometimes a bit frustation when things don't work out well). So now I'm curious what gives you positve energy?

Thanks for your views, faves and comments, they are welcome and appreciated.

4th gear, 100mph, 18psi... I can't stoppppp!

This is NOT a Photoshop effect. The image was actually taken at a very safe pace with 1" shutter speed. I took about 50 pictures and most of them turned out okay, but I really like this one because the pretty red truck I was passing really gives a great sense of motion. The camera was mounted on a tripod in my car, and the shot was taken with a remote in my hand.

The club, based in Angel Gate, has been awarded the money by Sport England’s Inspired Facilities Fund.

Changing facilities, the main clubhouse and storage facilities will all be improved with the cash.

The project is one of 350 local community sports groups who have been offered a total of £17.4 million in Olympic legacy funding through the Inspired Facilities Fund.

Rundle Mall - I like the strong colour contrasts and the subtle signs echoing the action - look carefully 😉

Photo taken at the UT Tuners annual meet up.

The moment I crested a small hill and gazed upon this tranquil scene I saw a golden opportunity to prove my manhood, something I often attempt. There is nothing better than scaring ignorant cattle, so I revved up the engine, popped the clutch (very macho, as I have an automatic), and blasted down the road with horn blaring and high beams flashing. At times I had to divert my attention from the exciting action to the mundane but important act of steering (life is full of compromises).

The cloud of dust I raised was almost an environmental disaster, which of course gave me great pleasure. But even better was watching the cattle run off in all directions---I have never seen lethargic animals move so quickly. What an ego boost! The clanging of their cowbells was just loud enough to be heard above the roar of my engine, so I yelled "More cowbell!" repeatedly, in honor of Christopher Walken on Saturday Night Live.

Once I reached the paved road I resumed a more cautious driving demeanor and forged ahead to Green River. The episode must have boosted my self-confidence because strangers looked with envy as I drove past. Women waved at me with an admiring look in their eyes: three or four times I stopped to express my gratitude for their attention.

I lied (twice)---I yelled "More cowbell" without thinking of anyone but myself and I only stopped once to express my gratitude (that one stop was long and tiring).

There is a rumor going around that none of this transpired and that I drove very slowly so as not to disturb the beasts. I disavow any knowledge of being such a sissy.

Gosh, this RSH sure knows when to show up to make my day! Its fly away was straight over my head. That shot isn't a total blur, but not share worthy. These are much better. I think I need to give this guy/gal a name. I guess first figure out the sex first...anyone?

Hey! Here's my newest build. This time mixing the hits of Rascal Flatts in Cars and the insanity of Star Wars. I built this for an Imperial Builders Division contest. I hope you all enjoy this movie mashup as much as the last!! Thanks for stopping by and checking it out!
