A lunchtime break from the office in June 1990 produced this frame of BR 58040 'Cottam Power Station' approaching St. Andrew's Junction, Birmingham with the 6E08 10:00 Didcot Power Station to Barrow Hill MGR empties, comprising 45 hoppers according to my notes.

“I became aware that there was no barrier between what was inside and what was outside. My body was illuminated by a bright light. I heard with my eyes and saw with my ears. I used my nose as mouth and my mouth as nose. I experienced the world with the totality of my senses as my spirit gathered and my form dissolved. There was no distinction between muscles and bones. My body stopped being heavy and I felt like a floating leaf. Without knowing it, I was being carried by the wind. Drifting here and there, I did not know whether I rode on the wind or the wind rode on me.”

A shot of a piece of drift wood that washed up on Ala Moana park in Honolulu, Hawaii. Across you can see downtown Waikiki and Diamond Head. Thought the piece of wood actually looked like a bone from a Dinosaur.

This is extremely dark for me. And surprisingly, I'm at a stage now, where despite how tough the last few weeks have been, I'm happier now than I have been in a long time.
When I was sitting in music class today, taking some time out from the past 3 weeks of stress, exams and assignments, composing music with a good friend of mine, something hit me. I just felt like crying. And they weren't sad tears, but happy tears. I'm inspired, I'm content with myself, and although things around me may not be perfect, I've learn to accept that I am the only one who can control my happiness. Yet this is one of those photos that explains a past feeling. Or memory. Something I wouldn't have been able to create at the time.
A lot can happen in a few days. I'm in a good frame of mind.

A band of rugged bandits who seek to wrest control of the wasteland race tracks, whether by air, land, or sea. Having clad their vehicles with the bones of a long-fallen dragon, they are as dreadful as they are fast!

The Sedlec Ossuary, aka The Bone Chapel, is an unusual and some would say macabre little chapel located in Kutná Hora, in the Czech Republic.
It contains around 40,000 to 70,000 human skeletons, arranged to form all the decorations and furnishings within the chapel.
What you see here is the coat of arms of the Schwarzenberg family, made with human bones from victims of the Black Death in the 14th century.
Very low light, with lots of people moving around in cramped conditions made any sort of photography quite a challenge in here. This was taken with the excellent wide angle Sigma 8-16mm f4.5-5.6, which as usual does not display its data correctly with Pentax for some reason.
Bones never lets me down....... he is always nearby.. Ready to rattle someone that shakes up the WITCH....:P
