It took two retirees five summers to dig this up. Slow, painstaking - they use paint brushes and screwdrivers! One of the largest apatosaurus femurs ever found. Six feet long.
BR 58018 'High Marnham Power Station' was recorded heading northbound at Hinksey with a set of discharged MGR hoppers forming the 6E13 from Didcot Power Station to Barrow Hill.

One of the most interesting (and strange) places I've visited in Portugal is the Capela dos Ossos (Bone Chapel), a small room attached to the Igreja de São Francisco (San Francisco Church) in Évora. The chapel was built by Franciscan monks in the 16th-century using bones from over 5,000 people that came from overflowing graveyards at nearby churches and monasteries. To add to the atmosphere, there was dramatic classical music playing and an inscription above the door in Portuguese that says “We bones that are here are waiting for yours.”

B-1B 'Ruptured Duck' (named for one of the Doolittle Raid aircraft) from 28th Bomb Wing on final at Nellis AFB. The B-1 was at Nellis for Red Flag 20-1.

58032 "Thoresby Colliery" is about to enter the Gascoigne Wood complex with MGR empties on the 14th May 1996. As can be seen, I was nearly bowled by an outbound National Power coal train.
