I actually parked the car miles away at Bronte and then walked all the way to Bondi around the coast via the Bondi to Bronte Coastal Walk, stopping of-course for coffee at the chic Tamarama Beach Kiosk (an essential stopover).

I am not a huge Charles Dickens fan however I do like some of his 'lines'....and this sunrise was one of the most beautiful I have seen in Bondi and it was one of the time of my times down there on the beach in the morning.

I have not taken a photo all week, not been at Bondi in the morning for a few weeks and I noticed that my photostream was becoming 'milky' with misty shots/foam shots/watery sun shots - time for an injection of colour from the fabulous sunrise a few weeks ago . Busy few weeks - please bear with me whilst I go through your wonderful shot and thank you all for your kind comments :)

Hi everyone, water you doing today, shell we go to the beach? Wasn't shore whether to post this or not.

This is another aerial from the doorless chopper flight couple of years back of Bondi Beach. Not sure if the get the TV series Bondi Rescue where you are? It looks a lot smaller from the air! I must admit I prefer my beaches with a lot less people and a lot more rocks, but still, any beach is better than no beach 😊

You probably need to view large to see anything at all! No zooming too close you! I know what you are up to 😜 This is a child friendly photo 😂

This is 'Rustle' (Sculpture 32) by the artist Andrew Cullen. It is a Water Dragon crafted from reclaimed timber.

The Water Dragon embodies adaptability in the face of changing waters. Its poised stance mirrors nature's resilience, urging us to reflect on our uncertain future.

Looking south at sunset across Mackenzies Bay towards Bronte Beach. In the distance you can see the lights at the Bronte Ocean Baths. You can also see the 381 bus (with its headlights on) which is travelling along the coast from Tamarama to Bondi Junction.

Last Saturday evening in Sydney.

Saturday, 1st November, 2025.

We had just finished our late Saturday sunset tour of the 'Sculptures By The Sea' (2025) and we were heading back to the car parked on Fletcher Street, Bondi.

We were walking in semi-darkness, of-course, because my two companions, Miss 18 and Miss 20, had become so obsessed with the tattooed Brazilian man, Miguel (featured in the photo before last), that I had to prise them both off him, lol.

Miss 18 was not happy with me (nothing new) and suggested that I was "too old" to recall love at first sight. OMG. But she has managed to live another day because I remained calm.

On the upside I managed to photograph the apartments with their view across the ocean at dusk.

'Cyan Forest' is a sculpture by Australian artist Philip Spelman, made from painted steel. The abstract geometric work is known for its vibrant cyan color and plays with positive and negative space, light, and shadow. It was selected by the exhibiting artists as their pick for the 2025 'Sculptures By The Sea' event.

'Cyan Forest' was photographed in the late afternoon at Marks Park, on the headland to the immediate south of Bondi Beach, in Sydney.

If you zoom in you can see the headland at North Bondi (right) and, through the foliage, Bondi Beach (left).
