Je suis celle qu'on tue

Pour pouvoir dormir

Je suis celle qui tue

Pour donner la vie

Je suis celle qui inspire l'amour

Et si je t'aime

Et si je t'aime

Je te donnerai des plaisirs, des plaisirs

Dont tu n'as pas idée,

Des plaisirs si grands

Que tu en mourras, en tueras,

Que tu me donneras

La mort dont j'ai soif

L'enfer dont j'ai faim

Tu me donneras

Le sang dont j'ai soif

La peau dont j'ai faim

Tu me donneras

Je suis l'idole

Qui empêche de dormir

Et si je t'aime, et si je t'aime

Je t'aime, je t'aime

In just a little while, a mournful cry will rise across the land, as hundreds of millions of people's hopes are dashed, realizing that they have not won the lottery - again..

If you ever needed proof that we are an optimistic people, this should erase any doubt. Your odds of winning are stupidly, ridiculously miniscule.

And yet, as we learned when Mary told Lloyd in Dumber and Dumber that the odds against them 'getting together' were "more like a million to one", as long as the odds aren't zero, we have a chance.

Despite the odds, Lloyd grins and says, "A million to one? So you're telling me - I got a chance! Yeah!!".

Our odds of winning tonight's Powerball are 292 times worse than Lloyd's chances of boinking Mary, but that doesn't stop us from making sure our chances aren't zero, does it..

As long as you've got a ticket - you've got a chance!

After Boinking Kylie Minogue Yesterday, I Think There Are 3 Things You Should Know. First, Her "Hoo Hoo" Is Tight As Hell, A Real Struggle To Get Into. Secondly, She Takes It Up The Tush Without Any Complaints And Thirdly, I'm Permanently Banned From The Wax Museum.

This scenic little waterfall is located on a path downstream from Mills Shoals Falls. Its a short and easy hike. Just watch out with low hanging tree limbs. Boink!!

I like this photo since I was able to hopefully catch some sky in the little pool in the foreground. Some trees were actually dropping their leaves adding some needed color to the photo.

In Kevin Adams new book he states, "As long as you stay away from the river and any wet rocks, it's just as safe there as on the sloping rock at the base." I should have heeded his warning. Just after this photo was taken I stepped out in front of my tripod and down I went. Deceptively slippery rocks for sure. But no real harm done.

This is the official end of my 365 journey - and what a journey it has been.....Perhaps we all get different things from this journey........ Many become better photographers, learn more about themselves, make friends.......

I don't really know what I thought I would get from it - I did hope it would make me a better photographer, but somewhere along the line, I got sidetracked from that. At first that bothered me, but I am glad I kept on going, even if it was not turning out like I thought it would.

It was a tough year for me - I had just lost my mom a month before I started the project. Perhaps I was searching for some distraction, I'm not sure. I had no idea of the friendships & support awaiting me. Some of these friendships had already begun, but were made even stronger - maybe it was because I had to show up; I could not retreat, as I was able to do "in real life" - and some friendships were newer. I received such wonderful support and encouragement - both for my 365, and for my sorrow & grief. It has enabled me to remember to laugh - and yet know that it is still OK to cry. My dear Flickr friends - you can not begin to know what you mean to me!!!

The project has forced me to look at myself - sometimes it made me more comfortable with my looks; other times it made me realize how ugly I really was. It was like a roller coaster. But no matter what, I still received that love and encouragement......

I have so much more to say........

Thanks to all of you!

and to ChrisMaverick and Stephen Poff for getting all this started - you just don't know what you have done!!!

I may take a tiny break - but I won't be far away......

"boink, that's the end!!"

The Indian Roller (Coracias benghalensis), is a member of the roller family of birds. They are found widely across tropical Asia stretching from Iraq eastward across the Indian Subcontinent to Indochina and are best known for the aerobatic displays of the male during the breeding season. They are very commonly seen perched along roadside trees and wires and are commonly seen in open grassland and scrub forest habitats. It is not migratory, but undertakes some seasonal movements. The largest populations of the species are within India, and Several states in India have chosen it as their state bird.

Description

The Indian Roller is a stocky bird about 26–27 cm long and can only be confused within its range with the migratory European Roller. The breast is brownish and not blue as in the European Roller. The crown and vent are blue. The primaries are deep purplish blue with a band of pale blue. The tail is sky blue with a terminal band of Prussian blue and the central feathers are dull green. The neck and throat are purplish lilac with white shaft streaks. The bare patch around the eye is ochre in colour. The three forward toes are united at the base.[2] Rollers have a long and compressed bill with a curved upper edge and a hooked tip. The nostril is long and exposed and there are long rictal bristles at the base of the bill.[3][4]

Three subspecies are usually recognized. The nominate form is found from West Asia (Iraq, Arabia) east across the Indian Subcontinent, and within India north of the Vindhyas mountain ranges. The subspecies indicus is found in peninsular India and Sri Lanka. The southern form has a darker reddish collar on the hind neck which is missing in the nominate form. The race affinis of northeastern India and Southeast Asia (Thailand, Myanmar, Indochina) is sometimes considered a full species, but within the Indian region, it is seen to intergrade with benghalensis. The form affinis is darker, larger and has a purplish brown and unstreaked face and breast.[2] It has underwing coverts in a deeper shade of blue.[3][5]

Distribution and habitat

The Indian roller is distributed across Asia, from West Asia (Iraq), through the Indian Subcontinent (including Sri Lanka and the islands of Lakshadweep and Maldive Islands) into Southeast Asia.[5]

The main habitat is cultivation, thin forest and grassland. They are often seen perched on roadside electric wires.

Ecology and behaviour

These birds are usually seen perched on prominent bare trees or wires. They descend to the ground to capture their prey which may include insects, arachnids,[6] small reptiles (including Calotes versicolor[7] and small snakes[8] and amphibians. Fires attract them[2] and they will also follow tractors for disturbed invertebrates. In agricultural habitats in southern India, they have been found at densities of about 50 birds per km2. They perch mainly on 3—10 metre high perches and feed mostly on ground insects. Nearly 50% of their prey are beetles and 25% made up by grasshoppers and crickets.[9][10][11] The feeding behaviour of this roller and habitat usage are very similar to that of the Black Drongo.[12] During summer, they may also feed late in the evening and make use of artificial lights and feed on insects attracted to them.[13] They are attracted to swarms of winged termites and as many as 40 birds have been seen to perch on a 70 metre stretch of electric wires.[14] Their habit of feeding near roadsides sometimes results in collisions with traffic.[15][16] A decline in the numbers of these birds seen along roadsides in northern India has been noted.[17]

The display of this bird is an aerobatic display, with the twists and turns that give this species its English name. The breeding season is March to June, slightly earlier in southern India. Displays when perched include bill-up displays, bowing, allopreening, wing drooping and tail fanning.[2] Holes created by woodpeckers or wood boring insects in palms are favoured for nesting in some areas.[10] Nest cavities may also be made by tearing open rotten tree trunks or in cavities in building.[3] The cavity is usually unlined and is made up mainly of debris from the wood. The normal clutch consists of about 3-5 eggs. The eggs are white and broad oval or nearly spherical.[4] Both sexes incubate the eggs for about 17 to 19 days.[5] The young fledge and leave the nest after about a month. Nearly 80% of the eggs hatch and fledge.[18]

The call of the Indian Roller is a harsh crow-like chack sound. It also makes a variety of other sounds, including metallic boink calls. It is especially vociferous during the breeding season.

The bird bathes in open water by plunge-diving into it, a behaviour often interpreted as fishing.[19][20] [21] But it may occasionally attempt fishing from water.[5]

Blood parasites Leucocytozoon of the family Plasmodiidae have been noted in the lung tissues.[22] Parasitic helminth worms Hadjelia truncata and Synhimantus spiralis were recorded as well

In culture

Being very common in the populated plains of India, it is associated with legends. A local name is neelkanth (meaning "blue throat"),[25] a name associated with the deity Shiva (who drank poison resulting in the blue throat). During former times, a captive roller would be released by the local ruler during festivals such as Dussera and Durga Puja.[26][27] Adding its chopped feathers to grass and feeding them to cows was believed to increase their milk yield.[28] The Indian Roller has been chosen as the state bird by the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Odisha

People think bunnies are going at it hard and often - but to be honest, they have nothing on these guys. The species is known as the common red soldier beetle (Rhagonycha fulva), but their behaviour has led to them also being known as the hogweed bonking beetle in the UK.

I was out on a walk and managed to find this species three times - and all three times it was a pair of them going at it.

Like everything good that Hollywood discovered, there must be a prequel. So it is with The Escapees. Like a good origin story, it all happened in the dark, hushed atmosphere of the cinema where couples go for ‘close proximity’. When the starship Enterprise took off “to go boldly where…” it struck a cord. It was as if a mischievous cherub has crept behind us and whacked our head with a hammer ‘boink!’ We saw the light! Even though it was still pitch dark. We came out of the cinema, dazed remembering Mr. Spock’s words of wisdom “Live Well… And Prosper”. Actually, he was using it to tell the Supreme Council “to stuff it!” but in a most unbelievably polite and emotionless manner. The Vulcan has spoken! We must listen…

Ha ha. Thank you cat19lives and Deirde McCoskrie for finding me out. Yes, the original is "Live Long... And Prosper" but I did not want to live as long as Spock but want to live well. So although Spock did not say that, I'm sure he meant it from his human side. ha ha.

The Indian Roller (Coracias benghalensis), was formerly locally called the Blue Jay, a misnomer. It is a member of the roller family of birds which breeds in tropical southern Asia from Iraq to Thailand. It is not migratory, but undertakes some seasonal movements.

The Indian Roller is a stocky bird, the size of a Jackdaw at 30-34cm. It has a warm brown back, lilac breast and face, and blue crown, wings, tail and belly. Sexes are similar, but the juvenile is a drabber version of the adult. The Southeast Asian race C. b. affinis has a green back and purple underparts.

Indian Roller is striking in its strong direct flight, with the brilliant blues of the wings contrasting with the brown back.

This is a bird of warm open country with some trees. These rollers often perch prominently on trees, posts or overhead wires, like giant shrikes, whilst watching for the large insects, lizards and frogs that they eat. They will follow tractors for disturbed invertebrates, and dash into the smoke of a forest fire on a similar mission. They are fearless and will dive and roll at humans and other intruders.

The display of this bird is a lapwing-like display, with the twists and turns that give this species its English name. It nests in a lined hole in a tree or building, and lays about 3-5 eggs.

The call of Indian Roller is a harsh crow-like chack sound. Also makes a variety of other sounds including a metallic boink calls. Especially vociferous during the breeding season.

Indian roller has been given the status of state bird for Indian states of Karnataka, Orissa and Andhra Pradesh

Show your character preparing for rebellion against the Queen’s forces. This can be stockpiling/forging weapons, gathering intelligence on the enemy, secretly assembling troops, etc.

I am sure that members of the Lands of Classic Castle (LCC) know the lenfel Sir Caelan Munro and his adventures. It is less known that he also has 4 older brothers, who are even more talented and capable than he is. Or at least they think so.

____________________________________________________________

It has been many months since the evil Queen Galainir seized control of the land by capturing the leaders of Roawia at her coronation banquet. The countryside has been overrun by her minions, and the peoples of Lenfald, Loreos and Garheim have been helpless to resist, for fear of bringing harm to their beloved leaders, friends and family who remain imprisoned in the Queen’s dungeons.

Until now, all hope has seemed lost. Until now, the people have cowered and fled the Queen’s forces. Until now...

Duke Cartney, the leader of Durrough is pretending to cooperate with the Queen in order to stay influencial, but secretly he is passing vital information up the command chain in Lenfald. He and his council were desperately trying to find a way to approach the King's Queen's Island undetected and free the leaders and nobles who are kept there imprisoned, but they could not come up with anything so far. But this might be his lucky day...

"Sir, there is a person who wants to speak with you. His name is Lennox Munro and he claims that he has found a solution to your problem" stated the captain of his personal guards.

"He must be one of Sir Caelan's brothers. Send him in immediately, the Munro name is a guarantee!"

Lennox has been escorted into the Duke's chamber.

"What is your plan, dear Sir? asked the Duke.

"I made some fairly successful experiments with flying devices but it would not be suitable for an army due to limited resources" said Lennox. He was right, there are simply not that much frogs in Lenfald but he kept this thought to himself. "I am about to invent a vessel that travels under water!"

Two weeks later

!!! BOINK !!!

"Alright, we reached the bottom of the sea, test #1 is successfully completed. Great job Lennox!" said the lenfel general. "Let's proceed with the next test: get back to the surface. How does it work?"

"It is trivial, sir!" replied Lennox. "Do you see those barrels in front of me? They are filled with rocks that helped the Going-Under-The-Water-Safely Device to sink. In order to surface we only need to bring the device into a positive buoyancy condition by throwing the rocks into the water."

"Wh-- WHAT?" asked the general histerically.

"Grab the shovels and throw the rocks into the water, capiche?" said Lennox slooooowly. This general is particularly dumb but hey, not everyone can be so bright like he...

I wish I could include the sounds in my images here...

As I moved slowly towards the owl to get a better image, its mate suddenly dropped out of the sky and the two birds briefly copulated.

I think what happened is that I was maneuvering around a bush and testing a possible sight line to the bird. The owl was partially obscured, so I was going to re-position, but then the action started and I just started shooting rather than trying for a better angle.

I did have the presence of mind to hit the shutter button, but no time to properly compose the scene. The confusion on the left is what it is. I think I was very fortunate to capture the moment at all.

Lenny parks outside of 130 Wien and Novik Blvd, where his first job as ‘The Eraser’ shall occur. It’s a pity he is dressed as a pencil. Jumping out of his van, he grabs a bucket of his patented cleeratol, a mop and bucket, and a pack of chicken bites (this is hungry work). All these supplies in tow, he runs towards the abandoned house. Having expected a cabal of low looking gangsters, Lenny is surprised to come face to face with a figure in a red and gold winged suit.

Firebug: “Umm… are you the guy?”

Lenny freezes like an antelope in headlights (marvel reference in a DC product, what is this the CW?). Gangsters are easy, but with supervillains… they are unpredictable.

Eraser: “Hi, I’m Len-RASER, I’m Le Eraser!”

The figure looks at Lenny, slightly confused.

Firebug: “Well I’m Le Firebug, but you can call me Joey Rigger, Len.”

Eraser: “What did you want me for, Joey!”

Firebug glances towards the corner of the room, where a heavily burnt body lies.

Eraser: “Jesus f*** Christ, dude… did you do that?”

Joey: Well, my friend Harlan helped a little. Can you do something about it?”

Eraser: “Sir, they don’t just call me The Eraser because I dress as a number 2 pencil!”

Joey: “Are you sure?

Eraser: “Yes, can you just let me get on with the job!”

Joey: “Sure, I’ll just boink my girlfriend upstairs!”

Lenny doesn’t answer, preferring not to let that sentence sink in. Once Joey has gotten upstairs, Lenny pulls out a piece of apparatus. He jams a pipe into the crispy, crispy neck, and before plugging the other end to a cannister of cleeratol and turns a dial at the end of it. Cleeretol slowly pumps into the body, and the body begins to dissolve, the previous crispiness aiding in the reaction. Anticipating a long wait, Lenny calls Firebug twice, the first time resulting in uncomfortable creaking, and the second time producing and exclamation of-

Firebug: “SHUT THE F*** UP PENCIL NECK I’M TRYING TO-!

Lenny cuts it off before anything more is said.

Lenny: “Well if I’m going to be here for a while!”

He pulls out his phone and dials in a number.

Ossie: “Len?”

Lenny: “I have a lot of waiting to do Oz…”

Ossie: “You don’t mean…”

Lenny: “Bring the bags!”

2 Hours Later…

While Oz escapes through the window, not realising they were on the second floor, Lenny clears away any Marijuana smoke that remained, as Firebug makes his way down the stairs.

Firebug: “Sorry to keep you waiting, me and my girlfriend were-”

Lenny: “La-la-la-la, I am not listening! Well, the body is gone, though I did call some…”

Lenny engages in the stoner trope of examining his hands for a moment.

Lenny: “…Help! Now I for the matter of payment!”

Firebug pulls out his wallet, inadvertently dropping it in the process. Courteously, Lenny picks it up, noting a photograph inside it.

Eraser: “Oh, you know Tiger Moth?”

Firebug nods insincerely as Lenny notes the angle at which the photo is taken.

Eraser: “She doesn’t seem to know you are there… is that… CALENDAR MAN!”

Firebug snatches the photo from Lenny’s hands, and babbles defensively.

Eraser: “Where were you when you took that?”

Firebug: “…hiding in her closet.”

Eraser: “… … … how quaint!”

NEW! "Thornhill" Naughty Graveyard Collection ~ 🎃

I wanted to have fun with this hunt theme and decided to create a few naughty graveyard pieces that you can use for some kinky outdoor decorating. Nothing like having some boink action in behind or in front of graveyards stones, trees and wells. This is my first collection like this so I packed it full of details and adult animations with 34 couple sets in total. The headstones have 1 sex anim set each, the graveyard plots have 4 sex anim sets each (& 3 spooky sounds each), the old well has 5 sex anim sets and 12 spooky sounds, and the creepy tree has 8 sex anim sets. The 2 wooden crosses are for tying up avis with 4 to 5 single poses (non sex oriented). So if you want to decorate this Halloween with some outdoor kink, this is the collection for you!

When collecting all the pieces in the hunt:

There are 6 naughty headstones, 3 graveyard plots, 2 wooden crosses, 1 naughty old well, & 1 naughty creepy tree.
