This night photograph of Louis Vuitton (LV) Island Maison was taken from the Singapore Marina Bay Sands (MBS) boardwalk. Some of the high-rise buildings in the business district could be seen on the left of the photograph, with the railings serving as safety barrier along the promenade.
The Orlando Wetlands boardwalk travels across a small lake, through the marshland and offers many views of nesting birds in the tall trees. Not so close as to disturb the wildlife, binoculars or telephoto lenses bring them close enough.
...and what lies beneath. Bennett’’s Millpond, Edenton, North Carolina. Apparently, this is where the water snakes hang out. Fortunately, I didn’t see any as I was sitting down taking the eight shots for this panorama.

Here in the Boston area we're preparing for a major snow storm bringing up to a foot of snow. It should begin tonight around 10pm and continue all night.

The elevated boardwalk allow visitors to come up close to the mangrove and coastal foothills at Labrador Nature Reserve Singapore.
The Okarito Boardwalk curves are a nice feature. The designers could have made a straight path, but chose to add this lovely curve.

A stroll on Telegraph Cove's boardwalks. On the Eastern Coast of Northern Vancouver Island, it began as a fishing and cannery village. Today Telegraph Cove has become a base for ecotourism where thousands of visitors travel to each year.
There are these boardwalks along a nearby lake and I have long since wanted to go there to try out some classic style long exposures. This is one of the ones I think works best from the day.
