Iowa Traction BLW Steeple Cab number 51 pulls a cut of tank cars across the diamond with the UP Mason City Sub as a UP local waits at the signal for them to clear. Like most of the IATR steeple cabs, 51 is over 100 years old and still working hard every weekday.

A SMILE FROM THE DOCTOR A DAY---KEEPS THE FLU AWAY--------------HEEEEE

Convair 880 (22-2) (msn 22-00-4) Formerly Delta N8801E, the fourth built, seen about to land on MIA runway 30 in January, 1975. Other registration was N817AJ. with American Jet Industries.

A6-BLW, a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, on approach to runway 24R at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario. It was arriving as ETD141 (Etihad Airways P.J.S.C.) from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It was wearing the second livery of the 17-year-old airline.

A spectacular scheme that helps inject some energy and life in this dreary, gloomy weather.

Greece Airways, with this single 757, provided the aircraft and crews to operate scheduled services for 'virtual' airline Air Scotland.

Sharknose No. 1216 heads up the Escanaba & Lake Superior Railroad Wells Job arriving in Channing, Mich. on Aug. 24, 1979. Not much revenue, but there were more cars when the train headed back east. This was one of two brief Shark revivals on E&LS, the other was late October/early November 1982.

While heading south, RBMN 2102 runs on the Iron Horse Rambles heading into Molino. People were all over this train and I’ve never seen more people out for one train but allowed me to meet some cool people along the way.

Iowa Traction BLW Steeple Cab number 54 shoves a cut of tank cars across the diamond with the Union Pacific in Mason City, Iowa. In the background is number 51 that will help the crew of 54 make their moves on the east side of the diamond.

With one Steeple Cab on the front and one on the rear, the crews of the Iowa Traction work their 100 year old motors hard to bring 15 loaded tankcars up the grade from the UP interchange to their destination at the Renewable Energy Group.

Iowa Traction BLW Steeple Cab No. 60, with the trolley pole temporarily down, crosses 19th Street SW with a Southern Pacific boxcar that was just switched out from a warehouse here in Mason City, Iowa, on February 28, 2025. Steeple Cab No. 60 was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1917 for the Youngstown and Ohio River Railroad and is the oldest motor car on the Iowa Traction's active roster. The boxcar will be taken to the interchange track with the Union Pacific.

Today marks the final run of the Nizamuddin-Bandra Yuva ACSF, with its ICF rake-also the last ICF train in India, permitted 130 kmph operations.

Once a stunner in ICF Yuva and Rajdhani-Duronto liveries, it now wears the dull Utkrisht. From next week, LHB coaches take over.

Seen here is offlink from CR - Ajni WAP7 #37735 sprinting at 110 kmph through Tughlakabad with 12248 NZM-BDTS Yuva.

37735 was built by BLW in 2024 and homed at BRC and KYN ELS before.

Can't remember seeing too many Western Railway of India WG 2-8-2s in passenger colours. WG 9122 (BLW 76061/55) was at Ratlam on 3 November 1978 and was an exception.

Built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1955, I'm led to believe this was one of a batch of 50 that were the last steam locomotives of significance to be built in the USA. 100 WGs were built under delivered the Indo-USA Technical Co-operation MIssion Aid Programme, 25 of each also coming from Hitachi and North British as part of the Programme.
