This is photo book number 22 that I have produced using Blurb after one of our big trips away. I can recommend this company for a top quality product, accurate colouring and a great finish. They have standard page layouts but you can also create your own page layouts with ease. I have only had two minor problems in the past and on both occasions they have produced a new book FOC. Most of our followers on Flickr will have seen most of the images which are in the book but it can be viewed on line at

At the moment unable to load new images due to our main computer in for repair so just done this image on our laptop. Hopefully it should be repaired by next Friday and I can access my new images which are stored.

Had a few shots featured in Scots magazine this month and today a lady called me up to order a print for her husband who is now in a nursing home. Turns out they had cycled this route before it was metalled and tarred in the 60s. Hardy folk, before mountain bikes and gears. It was there honeymoon and it was a wee reminder of that time. More satisfying than many comments?

Situated in Shropshire, this is what the official blurb says: The follies are brilliant, and the clever routing of the paths through the rhododendrons and trees makes for an even more interesting experience at each and every turn! The caves at the far end are breathtaking. There really is something interesting for all tastes! Nice tea room and a lovely bit of rocky road to top off an excellent afternoon.
These were taken in Autumn 2018 during their Halloween extravaganza. Beth was hired to play the role of the princess locked in the tower who would show all the visitors (mostly kids) how she kept warm by working out. She had them all doing starjumps and running on the spot!
It's a really great place to visit but the pathways are very uneven and none of the are flat for long, so it can be a bit of a challenge. But the scenery is so worth it.
This is my second blurb book, and I am so happy with how easy the software it to use and with the final product. This is for my baby, who is turning 7 tomorrow.
Been happy with the composition of this but just couldn't get the colour tone right...seems a bit too green to me but...

“The color of shadows" vol 1 – Blurb photo book
The images in “The color of shadows” feature color, shadows and mundane urban scenes of everyday places and objects. But the mundane urban environment becomes different under the light of its own shadows and the shades of the shadows, cast upon objects and surfaces, can make us believe that shadows really have color.
