Thank you for your visit, most appreciated!
I tried this shot when I was in Germany, but you can do this trick in every forest. You can achieve this with a vertical movement and a slightly longer shutter speed

Thanks Maria. I like this Group "Smile on Saturday" so much. I am forever being challenged. I had never done this before. In between appts Tuesday in city I tried my hand at it. I managed a few ok shots, but like this one for group. Thanks Maria for pushing me to forever learn. HSoS everyone. 😊🙋♀️

Sorry dear Flickr friends.
I am not able to comment on your wonderful photos at the moment for personal reasons.
Please do not feel obliged to comment on my photo.
I just want to express that I am still here.
All the best to you!
When the sun is below the horizon or it's too dark for shutter speeds fast enough to freeze birds in flight, I enjoy shooting blurs. Here I was using 1/60th of a second. It's necessary to pan at the same speed the bird is moving and hope to get the head sharp. It's typical not to get any keepers but still fun. This is a Cattle Egret, just starting it's nest building in my area of southeast Florida. When they are in breeding plumage, they get the yellow cap and chest as shown here. (Casmerodius albus)
I think I shall post crocus photos this week just so I can feel like Spring is coming. After I posted some yesterday morning we drove to work and it started to snow and then snowed a few cm till the ground turned white again. Fortunately it turned to rain and disappeared.
This week's theme for Mosaic Montage Monday was Gaussian Blur. Is it a riddle? Is it a puzzle? I dunno, it looks like it's going right. HMMM!
