Loved the blue water, when we went to a Pensacola, Florida beach.

FlickrFriday this week is pyramid! This one is part of the architecture at Bluewater shopping centre in Kent. As it was a boring rainy day with grey nondescript sky, I decided to add some effects to cheer it all up.
Thanks for viewing 😀

Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D7200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.

Lake State's 505 job shifts Dunn Paper at Port Huron, MI. Stationed right on the inlet of the St. Clair River, this spot was a unique scene for rail and sail combos. Unfortunately, Dunn Paper closed up not too long after I visited and I believe they are in the process of tearing the plant down. Progress sucks. 8/24/22

Amtrak's Bluewater is running a little bit late as it emerges from a snow squall at the west end of CN's Snow Yard in Millet. The train would meet Q122 around the corner at CP Mill.
This photograph captures a setting to the west-southwest across the blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico, with Fort Jefferson in the background. The image was taken during a ride on the Yankee Freedom Ferry and is in Dry Tortugas National Park.
Morning sail on the Moro out of the port of Vrboska, Hvar Island, Croatia. This is in the Hvar Channel that runs between Hvar and the island of Brač and mainland Croatia.
We find a detouring Amtrak #65 the Bluewater passing the Grand Trunk Western Holly, Michigan depot. This detouring of #65 and some freights lasted around a month as I remember, as they were doing extensive track work on the Flint Subdivision at the time - April 25, 1988.

Entry for the Summer Joust 2016 in the Vignette category. Pretty tough to fit an interesting micro castle in such a small space, but I think it turned out well; the dark blue roofs is something that I've been wanting to do for a while, and since I don't have enough pieces to do it in minifig scale, I decided to do it here.
Also, not sure if it's been done before, but the log brick above the front arch was attached using a 1x1 clip tile to get a half plate offset.

The westbound Amtrak /Via International - later Bluewater does it's station stop in Durand, Michigan on October 13, 1989, back in the days when the two carriers were pooling equipment between Chicago and Toronto, here a headend crewman gets lunch from the conductor.
Went for an overnight hike with friends to Elfin Lake in Garibaldi National Park. We were very fortunate to get some blue sky the day after as the hike up was very gloomy. Took one last pano of the lakes as we were leaving. Super happy with the turnout.

In Bluewater, New Mexico. Along "old Route 66" outside Grants. As in many of these old motels, the motel itself has long been closed.
