A recomposed image taken at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. I like the angles of the flying buttresses that support the internal space, like the reimagining of an old gothic structure. I find myself photographing this each time I visit as its right on the harbour.
I processed my previous photo "Detail of a painting" on one Japanese sliding door (fusuma) of the tatami rooms of the Hoyo of the Ryoanji Temple (龍安寺 or 竜安寺, Ryōanji), Kyoto, Japan.
It looks more like a blueprint now ;-))
Here you can see a photo with a total view from the Hoyo.
The temple and its gardens are listed as one of the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto, and as an UNESCO World Heritage.

The beginning or 'Blueprint', my latest origami tessellation-project, now using the small irregular hexagon and the big regular hexagon.
If you want you can have a look at 'Autumn', where I used the small regular hexagon, to see the difference.
Here you see the big 'Blueprint' and the little one. I also made a night and day version, I like the different feel this contrast gives.
In the first row you see all the front sides and in the lower row you see the other front sides ;-))
Little 'Blueprint' is folded from a hexagon 15cm, rice paper, grid 1:24".

AMSTERDAM Light Show -.Blueprint’ laat je het Scheepvaartmuseum zien zoals je het nog nooit zag. Door middel van laserstralen wordt in real time een blauwdruk getekend op het gebouw, een knipoog naar hoe het gebouw ooit ontworpen is
.De animatie duurt ongeveer tien minuten en herhaalt zich voortdurend.
Nadat het proces voltooid is en het skelet van de gevel zo ineens zichtbaar is geworden verdwijnen de lasers geleidelijk tot het gebouw beetje bij beetje weer opgaat in de duisternis.
Zo verbindt het Amsterdam met het verleden, heden en de toekomst: historische bouwkunst Het Scheepvaartmuseum

My very first attempt at cyanotype.
Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print. Engineers used the process well into the 20th century as a simple and low-cost process to produce copies of drawings, referred to as blueprints. The process uses two chemicals: ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide.
I used a kit to produce my blueprint and it was so easy and fascinating to watch it happen. A shout out to my son Matthew Fox for once again being my inspiration to try this.

This shot through the fence, a worms eye view, is showing the start of Huddersfield New Library which sits adjacent to the new food hall.

Some times the only camera you have to hand is a phone.
It has to be said that phone cameras are getting better and better - - mine isn't. But if its the only camera you are going to buy then some of the smart phones have pretty good cameras (and so they should have - the IPhone 13 pro max costs more than my Olympus E-M1 and a reasonable lens).
This just seemed like a nice image; in a pub in Cullompton for a lunch time drink.

Master of the skies the powerful white tailed eagle.The UK's largest and most powerful bird making it's final approach.
This bird is a fabulous advert for conservation and a great blueprint for the reintroduction of other former native species..
White tailed eagles were driven to extinction in the UK by the ill advised hand of man, with the last bird being shot on Shetland in 1916.
These gorgeous birds were reintroduced on Rum in 1975 with further releases on Wester Ross in 1993. Since then most of the eagle population has found it's way to Mull where a healthy population is now well established.
Once again the population is starting to spread out across western Scotland and the Isles.
