Crabapple blossoms photographed at the Arie den Boer Arboretum in Des Moines, Iowa. I really like the way the yellow anthers stand out against these colorful purplish-red magenta blossoms.

This a a small twig of springtime blossoms from a tree at my daughter's school. I asked the ladies in the office if I could clip off a bit for my project. The ladies were hesitant about allowing me to use a small bit of the tree but agreed as long as I didn't take too much. I feel grateful for the opportunity to highlight the beauty of the flowers I am gathering from my area.
Fresh from my garden and oh so lovely. I was giddy with joy to work with these this morning. The lines and curves made me swoon. I tried to create a composition that showed off the shape and beauty of the blossoms.
Gardens come to life and they bring us bright colors and joy on these Warm Summer Day. Thanks for viewing my work. Stay safe and be kind to everyone.
What a cloudy day, but it changed suddenly this afternoon. Since the camera is always charged and ready to hand, I tried to catch exactly these cherry blossoms. The wind and the inconsistent weather in the past few days have already badly damaged the flowers.
