Hi there,
This crocus is a wildflower that can be found towards the end of April or early May. It's Manitoba's provincial flower and the first wildflower to bloom in our Canadian province.

My Epiphyllums are covered with buds and are just starting to bloom.
Epiphyllum are the gems of the cactus world. Commonly called orchid cactus, they produce absolutely stunning flowers. There are many types of Epiphyllum, but the majority are epiphytic and live in trees while a few species are terrestrial.
Salvia is the largest genus of plants in the mint family, Lamiaceae, with nearly 1000 species of shrubs, herbaceous perennials, and annuals. Within the Lamiaceae, Salvia is part of the tribe Mentheae within the subfamily Nepetoideae. One of several genera commonly referred to as sage, it includes the widely produced herb used in cooking. Salvia species include annual, biennial, or perennial herbs, along with woody subshrubs. The stems are typically angled like other members in Lamiaceae. The leaves are typically entire, but sometimes toothed or pinnately divided. The flowering stems bear small bracts, dissimilar to the basal leaves—in some species the bracts are ornamental and showy. 30210

It's that time of year when everything's in bloom, beautifying the neighbourhood. Happy Sunday my friends =)
Rhododendron is a genus of 1,024 species of woody plants in the heath family (Ericaceae), either evergreen or deciduous, and found mainly in Asia, although it is also widespread throughout the lowland and montane forests of the Pacific Northwest, California, and the highlands of the Appalachian Mountains of North America. Most species have brightly coloured flowers which bloom from late winter through to early summer. Azaleas are subgenera of Rhododendron. 10620
Spring is here and I'm isolated; however, we have a few beautiful dogwood trees in our Courtyard and I clipped a bloom and took a shoot of it just for you.

Winter blooming succulent. It is a genus of about 125 species of tropical, succulent flowering plants in the family Crassulaceae, mainly native to Madagascar and tropical Africa. Kalanchoe was one of the first plants to be sent into space, sent on a resupply to the Soviet Salyut 1 space station in 1971. Most are shrubs or perennial herbaceous plants, but a few are annual or biennial. The largest, Kalanchoe beharensis from Madagascar, can reach 6 m tall, but most species are less than 1 m tall. Kalanchoes are characterized by opening their flowers by growing new cells on the inner surface of the petals to force them outwards, and on the outside of the petals to close them. Kalanchoe flowers are divided into 4 sections with 8 stamens. The petals are fused into a tube, in a similar way to some related genera such as Cotyledon. 25026
