Meet Dorothy, an aspiring model and actress.

I recently had an opportunity to participate in portrait photography. What a different world portrait photography is compared to landscape photography!!

This is my first attempt at portrait photography and I hope you like the photo.

Buzzards have a large color variation, there are very dark colored specimens while there are also those with an almost white underside. The upper part is plain, while various cross bands are drawn on the lower side. The tail of an adult buzzard has 8-10 narrow dark transverse bands in addition to the dark terminal band. The wingspan is about 113 to 128 cm. The total length from head to tail is about 51 to 57 centimeters (source Wikipedia)

Measuring 10 to 11 inches, this standout lives in eastern South America—and looks like it just walked out of a jungle salon with volume to spare. That pale, tousled crest isn’t for camouflage—it’s for communication, mate attraction, and establishing dominance.

Sure, it might break up the bird’s outline in the foliage just a little, but let’s be honest: this is a look meant to be noticed. The contrast with its darker body makes it less “blend in” and more “make an entrance.”

With flair in its crest and debonair air,

It once dated a toucan, then ghosted a bear.

It pecks not for hunger but pure social clout,

It taps just to gossip, not sort termites out.

Sans rapport avec la photo précédente, ce remarquable "semis" de chardons nous prévient que le chemin du sommet sera semé de quelques obstacles.

Appears to be a little Leucism going on here.

Asking for a friend 😜

Un blond cheval passant, devant mes yeux éblouis

Par un tel port royal, qui me donne l'envie

De prendre en photo, de sa splendeur qui luit

Au delà de l'ombre, qui nous met à l'abris.
