Deze boom zie je veel in Slowakije langs de weg. Ze bloeien als gouden regen, maar zijn dan wit. Een van mijn favoriete bloesem.

You see this tree a lot in Slovakia along the road. They bloom like golden rain, but are white. One of my favorite blossom.

Those 20 years ago the glacier filled the bottom of the walley and at the root was a lagoon, very deep in parts. - Still the glacier had been much thicker when I started to travel the area around 1970.

In the eruption in Eyjafjallajökull 2010 the lagoon filled and actually the land in front of the cliffs is more than 100 meter higher than the surface of tha lagoon had been. The flood took very much of the Gígjökull, and brought with it so much volcanic sand

Planten un Blomen ist ein öffentlicher Park in Hamburg, einer der beliebtesten Erholungsorte für Bürger und Touristen. Die Pracht der Bäume und Blumen, eine interessante Landschaft, singende Springbrunnen, ein herrlicher Rosengarten, eine offene Bühne für Konzerte, ein Café! Im Jahr 2020 feierte der Park sein 200-jähriges Bestehen!
