I was czeching out my DNA and clicked on the Google link in the "Ego" section. I discovered that my "Thankful" photo had been used on a blog.
Please note that the Creative Commons deed allows this photo to be shared as long as it is attributed (it is) and Non-commercial (clearly).
I was:
A) Surprised to see my photo used, and then,
B) Pleased that it was used for such a good purpose. It is entirely the reason that I wanted my photos released under the CC paradigm.
With so many of my photos capable of being used for much more heinous purposes, it makes me feel good that a photo of my would be shown to exhort others to good works or self-improvement.
But... how do you feel about having your photos used thusly? Do you share my inclination to write the blogger and say I am happy he chose my photo?
Conversely, as a blogger, do you feel any compunction to email the photo's owner to let them know that you are going to us it?
What would you do?
I am obsessed about capturing every space that I am in. Also I do capture performances or spaces on request for a project. I upload the best of the captures on to FLICKR. From these I select a few to write my blogs about the experience, introspection, learning etc. I also use for executing projects in education, performing arts etc.
I create an annual calendar as a tribute to Indian dance and music
So these select captures showcase the broad perspective and spectrum.

Three lunch breaks a week, I open up my room for a Bloggers Cafe -a space where members of the school community can come to blog, network, mentor and be mentored. It's proving 'very' popular!
Sons Of Anarchy. We have always been a year behind in watching the show. We binged watched the last season on DVD (Yay for vacation) and now we are all caught up. No more spoliers that we have to worry about. We can finally find out what happens at the same time as everyone else.

I wanted to make a fondant-ed cake for my friend's big b-day. I went to
walmart and saw ready-made fondue from Wilton cake decorating. I read the
ingredients. It horrified me to see that glycerin was listed amidst many
other weird non-edible sounding things.
I put that package back and went online to read for a fondant recipe. I
found many but also read that many people think fondant tastes rather
inedible. Well, that sounded unpleasant. Then, I came across marshmallow
fondant. I picked a recipe and made it 2 days in advance so that it could
"set". It was made of tons of powdered sugar, marshmallows, and a little
water and vanilla extract. It tasted like a gourmet Peep easter candy. My
friend loved her daisy mmfondant cake, and I enjoyed some too.
