Sunnglases at bryggen in Bergen

Speaks for itself. Another successful day of gathering followers for my blog on Twitter. Even in this short time I've already collected quite an impressive cutthroat crew of robots and spammers.

There are times at night when I'm out shooting, that I will come across an image that will just open itself and bleed. This is one of those images.

Some of the things I did:

walked and walked and walked

talked French and realised that I'm loosing it (plus I can't handle euros anymore)

had some interesting and some scary discussions

ate delicious pastries, bread, macarons and crêpes

went on several street art safaris (Montmartre, close to Centre Pompidou and around Canal St Martin) and contributed a little myself

saw this great exhibition at Musée Galliera

went to the amazing Promenade plantée (which is a park up in the air, over the streets - a very special and delightful experience, you should visit it, it's close to the Bastille)

bought the cutest sandals ever and a pretty dress (and some coconut scent)

found a lovely second-hand store which I must explore closer next time (it was close to Centre Pompidou)

drank my last café crème with Anneli in Paris (in the same place as we had our first)

had a fun night in the downpour (but it started in a bar, not sure which part of it was the best)

During a recent vacation at our cottage, I set off in the canoe mid-morning to the beaver dam at the south end of the creek leading out of the lake. The weather was, uh, variable. The second image was taken 10 minutes after the first. The third 20 minutes later. The fourth was taken that evening.

Learn to Use Weightlifting Wrist Straps for Heavy Weights

via Tumblr bit.ly/13mKnr5 Learn to Use Weightlifting Wrist Straps for Heavy Weights: via Tumblr bit.ly/13mEcmX Learn to Use Weightlifting Wrist Straps for Heavy Weights: Weightlifting wrist straps by riptoned.com – Discover the best ways to correctly use lifting straps from Kevin Weiss of Body Performance personal fitness training Hello thereKevin Weiss from Body Performance personal fitness training, in the last 30 years of being a competitive bodybuilder both on the national and world stage as well as being a.competitive powerlifter I have actually learned a thing or 2 about what works and what doesn’t.The last thing you want when you’re dealing with a heavy weight whether it’s with deadlifts, rows, pull-ups, pull-downs or any other thing like that where your grip may become a factor is your grip to slip on you so today I am going to tell you about something I have actually made use of for many years and a fantastic weightlifting product that actually is going to help you in reaching your goals. So the product I want to share with you is the Rip Toned weightlifting padded wrist straps and I just want to offer you a very quick tutorial of the steps to correctly use these lifting workout straps.1. The 1st step that you’re going to do is you’re going to find the loop on the end of the lifting straps.2. Slide the other end through the loop.3. Then move the weightlifting strap onto your hand so the other end is hanging down your palm, you don’t want it this way over top. As well you don’t want it to be up on your wrist cause that’s not going to support everything down onto your hand.4. Tighten it up like this … and that’s ready to go.5. Now I will show you how to wrap the strap around the bar to get the tightest grip possible.6. So your starting position for this step is close to the bar with your wrist strap going underneath, don’t go overtop like this you’ll still have the ability to wrap it around like that but you’re.not going to get a tight grip this way.7. Put it underneath the same way your thumb would go underneath, you can push the lifting strap end underneath then get it on the back side with your fingers like this and pull it until it is tight.8. Now that you have it like this it’s an easy exercise of just flipping it over multiple times… if you really want to keep it tight what works great is that you do similar to a motorcycle grip or a motorcycle throttle twist it … bring it … pull it … twist it … you’re good to go.9. Then you just simply duplicate that with your other hand.Easy as that … now using Rip Toned padded weightlifting straps I have a good grip that’s not going to slip out of my hands at any point in time. All right so that’s all there is to it … real easy product and it will make a big difference in any workouts where your grip is going to be an issue.I’m Kevin Weiss from Body Performance online coaching have an excellent day.Click the link below for more information on RipToned weightlifting wrist straps for both men and women bodybuilders and powerlifters.http://bit.ly/1a7Brbs. via Blogger bit.ly/17rB0U4 via Flickr bit.ly/17rDzWr via Blogger bit.ly/17rFmKS via WordPress bit.ly/1a7Ie4L via Blogger bit.ly/16Ry2u5

Moss and lichen growing on the cedar rail fence at our cottage.

i'm sitting on a bench under the shade of the trees at the JARDIN DU TUILLERIES overlooking the PLACE DU CONCORDE zith the SEINE and the EFFIEL TOWER in the background: One can hear the 'crunching' of rocks under peoples feet as they walk behind me. The wind is rustling through the trees with wayward leaves tumbling across the white sand below my feet.

It's fun to hear the over=exhausted tourists sigh relief when they sit down on the bench behind me. My mom is at home taking a 'day off' and I'm wandering the city= Soon to arrive at the PONT DES ARTS bridge to photograph some more LOCKS OF LOVE . I should write on a lock TO RED WINE, STINKY FRENCH CHEESES AND FRENCH BAGETTES!

I did find a closed lock which i photographed, of course, and then took home and wrote on it TO LOVE LOST. I will put it on the PONT DES ARTS bridge fence with the help of a little working lock!
