To prevent livestock straying from the field and into the land on the other side of the railway line an old gate has been placed across the stream. Twigs, small branches and leaves build up and form a dam restricting the flow of water. One of the tasks was to clear the debris. I don't know the name of this block but I found it at an antique store and had to have it. There were 3 more blocks but I had limited finances and picked the one that I liked the most.

This bridge over W Johnson Ave is becoming a forest and is not currently being refurbished for trail use. If the 4.5 miles of railbed in Cheshire were converted to trail there would be an unbroken path 27 miles long from New Haven to Southington.
Man oh man, this block took half the morning to do. :) I'm pretty happy with it though, aside from one or two small issues.

The 2011 Winter Focus Exhibitions at the Greater Reston Town Center (GRACE) include solo exhibitions by artists, Ellen Corbett, Matt Ravenstahl and Travis Childers.
The exhibitions will be on display until February 18th, 2011.

A four-alarm fire along 2800 block of Lower Greenville Avenue in Dallas claimed Terilli's, Hurricane Grill, Mick's and the Greenville Bar & Grill on Tuesday, March 2, 2010. The building they were housed in was built in the 1930's.
