A little hat I knit from Classic Elite "Blithe" (a yarn made from baby camel hair). It was a simple 2 x 2 rib, knit over 96 stitches, on a size 6 circular needle.

I wanted to capture in a dirty, poor corner of Bangkok, the lighthearted innocence of a young girl, who can play with a stick and still seems serene. I played around with grey tones to recreate the atmosphere and I zoomed out to show the poverty of the background.
