"Blithe" in progress, the bottom front of the the vest. Used size 2.0 mm needles for the bottom edging, switched to 2.5 mm needles for the rest of the vest.
I wanted to capture in a dirty, poor corner of Bangkok, the lighthearted innocence of a young girl, who can play with a stick and still seems serene. I played around with grey tones to recreate the atmosphere and I zoomed out to show the poverty of the background.
