Nobuo on the floor this morning, calmly waiting for breakfast. Nobuo was annoying Bonkers by merely being close by, even though Nobuo didn't know it.
For a cat, Nobuo is very two-dimensional in his perception. It may be because of his arthritis which causes him pain to move around a lot...
Usually Nobuo is relatively patient when it's breakfast or dinner time - I think it's because we adopted him as an adult stray cat and he still can't believe his luck...

Me as Ruth Condomine, in my Act I getup.
That's a wig. I do love a wig or so. Anything to avoid trying to style my own hair.

Kim Hargreaves' Blithe from "The Shades of Pale" collection. I did it in a different yarn (Patons Diploma Gold 4ply wool rich, tumble dry). Can't say that I'd recommend the yarn though. Too plastic feeling (a wool/nylon/acrylic mix), doesn't take the cast on well (cable), so you'd have to do a tubular cast on or any sort of cast on which stresses NEATNESS. Also, you can see the yarn just looking tired already. I'm going to be steamblocking like a mofo. Although I love the colour (chocolate), I think Blithe looks its best in a bright or light colour, to have the shadows of the pattern to pop.
