I am sorry that I have not been on...our internet has been out this week and it will not get fixed till wed of next week.(ggrrrr..the problem is under ground, uggg) Right now, I am out of town with family that has traveled across the country to see us...whooo hooo...sooo we are out and about having fun. Yesterdays juvenile Bald Eagle along the Kentucky bank of the Ohio River.
Based on its flecking, I would guess it to be a 2–3-year-old as the beak and eyes are in that awkward transition to yellow.
My lovely TiaMaria receiving a blessing just after her cancer was diagnosed. She went on to live another 5 years. 💞

This was taken on a crisp, sunny morning, November 23, 2017. Tall grasses used in landscaping bathed golden in sunlight, were so appreciated to see now that all here in The Mid-Hudson Valley has faded. An adjustment, if that, converting raw to jpeg.

Sheltering at home is truly a blessing. I have so many things to do... the days fly by too quickly.
Yup, Same spot as yesterday (because I am trying to stay close to home) and because I decided that I really like it ... and since I worked so hard to reclaim it from the weeds and vines, I felt that I should make use of it. And while I was out there, it rained, it snowed, the sun came out, the wind howled... and I wondered why I wasn't wearing gloves! It felt like winter! Got this shot and headed home for hot chocolate. I am loving every day that I have the time to do what I want to do. Life is good... blessings in disguise.

Sunshine filtering through the leaves of the trees in our local woods.
At Pashupatinath, Kathmandu Nepal, a sadhu performs a blessing during Maha Shivaratri - the auspicious wedding day of Shiva and Parvati.
This was the view of sunset outside my west facing window last night. Years ago, there was a woods across the street from my home, then developers took down the majority of trees and built homes. I was really upset when that happened. But afterwards, I realized I could see sunsets from my front window. So overall, the view of trees lost was replaced by seeing glorious sunsets.
Today marks 6 months since Bit and her crazy expressions joined our lives. What a blessing she is. Happy “half” Gotcha Day, baby girl! We love you.
