Morning magic at marvelous Moraine Lake.
The bridge leading to the Emerald Lake Lodge with a reflection of Emerald Peak in the lake outlet. The Cilantro Restaurant and Coffee Shop is beckoning on the right. What a blessing it is to visit such beautiful places. This day was special as I shared this day with dear friend Sergio Lanza.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
An American traditional holiday to give thanks for our many blessings. My many blessings are too numerous to mention. However, one of my most dear and valued blessings is the friendships I've made here on flickr. You enrich my life, bringing smiles and joy every day with your beautiful images, travels, adventures, knowledge, information and continued support. Thank YOU!
blessing of Cossack. Without the blessing of God, no matter can not have success. Blessing involves the transfer of real power. It can powerfully influence the lives of those who have received the blessing. The kissing of the priest’s hand, which occurs when he gives the cross and blesses, has a special spiritual and moral significance. Receiving grace from God through the cross or priestly blessing, a person mentally kisses the invisible hand of God, which gives him this grace..The Cossacks of Russia, first of all, are the Cossacks, who appeared on the Don, the Lower Volga and the Urals.
The first official mention in Russian sources of the "Cossacks" refers to the XVI century.

"May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
May the rains fall soft upon your fields."
Dear Flickr-friends, thank you so much for your precious time, your appreciated attention and all the inspiration you gave me during this year! Have a wonderful start of a happy New Year. See you in 2017!

Well they were testing conditions to start with, and I took this before any sunlight appeared and with wet underpants. The cloud had just lifted off the distant mountains, the Langdale Pikes, and the view was beginning to open up for me as the breeze slowly dried my nethers.
I can't deny it is a great view from Holme Fell, out over the slate quarry workings of Hodge Close and to the North West. I just needed some splashes of sunlight rather than the lashing rain and hail that came to soak me again, several times over.
My lovely TiaMaria receiving a blessing just after her cancer was diagnosed. She went on to live another 5 years. 💞
I just got crazy!
But..............
A blessing, (also used to refer to bestowing of such) is the infusion of something with holiness, spiritual redemption, divine will, or one's hope or approval.

This was taken on a crisp, sunny morning, November 23, 2017. Tall grasses used in landscaping bathed golden in sunlight, were so appreciated to see now that all here in The Mid-Hudson Valley has faded. An adjustment, if that, converting raw to jpeg.

We do have to suffer but in the end it makes us strong, better and wise."

Sheltering at home is truly a blessing. I have so many things to do... the days fly by too quickly.
Yup, Same spot as yesterday (because I am trying to stay close to home) and because I decided that I really like it ... and since I worked so hard to reclaim it from the weeds and vines, I felt that I should make use of it. And while I was out there, it rained, it snowed, the sun came out, the wind howled... and I wondered why I wasn't wearing gloves! It felt like winter! Got this shot and headed home for hot chocolate. I am loving every day that I have the time to do what I want to do. Life is good... blessings in disguise.

Sunshine filtering through the leaves of the trees in our local woods.
Today marks 6 months since Bit and her crazy expressions joined our lives. What a blessing she is. Happy “half” Gotcha Day, baby girl! We love you.
May the ancestors deliver blessings on you and yours
May the new year bear great fruits for you
May your granted wishes be as many as the seeds in a pomegranate
May the slide into darkness bring you light
May the memories of what has been keep you strong for what is to be
May this Samhain cleanse your heart, your soul, and your mind!

More butterflies and wild flowers around the field edges.
Such a fine sight to see and with such a feeling of gratitude for my freedom to walk.

Receiving flowers as a gift is a double blessing. The beauty fills one's house for days and offer up vast opportunities for photo sessions. While admiring my orange Daylily flowers, I noticed bright pollen had fallen to the surface of a leaf.
