Just want to inform you that I never use Photoshop on any picture.
This is taken between branches with lot of frost on. That is why the cat is framed like this.
Thanks to everyone who takes the time to view, comment, and fave my photo.

A Variegated Fritillary Butterfly. Nebraska is quite the state for attracting large varieties of butterflies. Gives us nature photographers something to do while waiting for the Monarch invasion.
Skippy Blends In the squirrel heard me or saw me, they usually freeze until they know where your going, very cautious group, shot in North Carolina.
We came across this barred owl while visiting Circle B Bar Reserve near Lakeland, Florida. They blend into their surroundings so well that only his gliding in and landing on the branch caught my eye. I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time. He is surrounded by spanish moss on the tree branches and trunk in a rather dark setting.
This was my “most popular” photograph of 2021 when measured by the number of raw ‘favorite’ clicks. However, when measuring the ratio of favorite/views, it’s 5.5% does not measure up to several other photographs in my Photostream.

My friend and I took a drive to wicklow and we were lucky to spot a herd of wild goats
And they were just as curious as us probably wondering what was going on watching us sliding all over the place..
This is only the second time I've ever seen them so was a joy
Thank you for all your visits and stay warm and safe ☃️😊
Came across this male cardinal sitting in a bush on a snowy day, if you look close enough you can see snow flake shapes on his feathers.
Artistic framing of a majestic mosque silhouetted against a vibrant sunset sky.
The mosque is positioned prominently in the foreground, creating a strong silhouette against the colorful sky, drawing the viewer's eye to its architectural form.
A bird is visible in flight between the two minarets adding a dynamic sense of movement and life to the serene landscape.
Al Sahaba Mosque in Sharm El Sheikh is a relatively modern yet significant landmark in Sharm El Sheikh, blending traditional Islamic design with contemporary elements.
A blend of Fatimid, Mamluk, and Ottoman architectural styles, with two towering minarets and numerous domes. It serves as both a place of worship and a cultural attraction, welcoming visitors to appreciate its distinctive architecture and the peaceful atmosphere, especially during prayer times or when illuminated at night.
The sunset lighting creates a dramatic and tranquil atmosphere, emphasizing the spiritual significance of the mosque.
I watched as this Brown Creeper moved down to the base of the tree and opened it`s wings and posed for me for nearly a minute while warming it`s body in the evening sunshine.

If not for the bluish green patch on their bodies, I might have walked away without noticing the pair of peahens (as was told) against the brick wall of an old building I passed by during an outing with friends. As it was, I did spot them & with my camera in hand took a quick shot:)
Image created from multiple exposures blended together in Photoshop CS6 layers using the "Lighten" blend mode. All exposures were taken with a single Einstein strobe with a 22" beauty dish attached to a boom arm. Send me a FlickrMail message, and I'll be more than happy to send you some information on mostly how I photograph this style and what equipment I use.

Got through the roadblock . . .
In Sweden it is very difficult to find environments that have not been fixed. Almost all areas of Stockholm are cleaned up ... nothing is scrappy ... This is a place that many photographers has shot a photo ... but soon this is going to be fixed to ...
We saw so many turkeys at the park this year. This one was doing its best to hide behind this little bare tree and blend into the background! I used one of the Lightroom presets to give it a little Fall color.
Happy Wing Wednesday!
A Lark Sparrow (Chondestes grammacus) picking bugs or grit from a gravel surface near Leader, Saskatchewan, Canada.
The colouring of this bird matches the terrain that it blends in quite well.
