Some where beneath us,
lurks that creature.
That creature , who would rather,
stay in bed all day on a Saturday,
rather than do chores.
Yes, that's me today.

my friend--Odu Adamu
attending 1st Saturday at the Brooklyn Museum
Spotted him at The Tribute to the Ancestors of the Middle Passage, and just knew I had to get a photo.
Then I find out he's an author: Burnett Coburn of "Sorbett & Sweet Potato Pudding"
"...represents the distillation of over three decades of intense sensuous living and reflection into one volume bursting at the seams with lived experience and collective memories."
Ran into him again as someone else was taking his photo--when I commented about it-he joked--"It must be the white beard."

Troy, Brad, Greg ... Easter Sunday and a strobe head. Don't ask me what he said, i don't remember. (That's my story and i'm sticking to it.)
Spotted these two playing chess in the Park and asked for a photo-- The guy on the left was agreeable and engaged in light conversation, the one on the right didn't pay any attention to me--must have been his move

MY Stranger 25/100
While returning to Santa Cruz, from LA, I must say I was truly in for a treat when I least expected it. One of which experiences was happening upon Mr. Tony Street as he calls himself, at a bar. With his dog bud and his sax we immediately struck up conversation filled with laughter and about our perspective arts. That conversation led to these photos. And after that he was on the road yet again. I wonder when I will see Tony Sax again?
