Other than wrought iron fences, one just doesn’t see too many fences painted black. This must be a real trip in the dark. “Ouch! Did I just run into something? What is that fence doing there in the middle of the field?“ HFF

I felt like I needed to create this evening, despite feeling not at all good and very tired. So I introduce you to my little chalk friend here. Inspired by Jack Batchelor's photo of a terrified little snail in the rain, I was reminded that... I kinda like snails.

Nic, Eric and myself went for a photo shoot at the Caishikou area. The entire area is being demolished. This photo is taken inside the primary school that used to serve the area. Looks like it was abandoned in a rush... no time to clean the blackboard.

Empty table and empty chairs

I had to make room in the kitchen for a new wooden shelf so I brought back the blackboard to the studio.

Shot with X100f, somewhere in Bangalore.

In the heart of the Flint Hills sits an abandoned school. The blackboard still waits to share a bit of wisdom I think. Have a great weekend my friends!
