I photographed this cock Blackbird, while out with our dog this morning. A common enough sight, of course, but his plumage positively shone in the early morning sunshine, so I thought I'd post his portrait.

This was tricky, a black bird in the shade and backlight. Blackbirds are very common also during the winter in Sweden.
