September 16,2020, Homer Alaska. The far end of the Spit reaches out into Kachemak Bay and is home to fishing boats, sea otters and whales. At the end lies the Ferry Terminal and these large structures. The early morning hour captures my soul as I wait for the sunrise.

"The parish church of St Mary the Virgin in Ross on Wye is, one of the largest churches in Hereford Diocese. The church serves a town of some 10,000 inhabitants.
The current building dates from 1284, it is believed there were earlier churches on the site, certainly in the town, and the building we see today was pretty much built by 1316 when it was dedicated. Two major Victorian restorations are responsible for the feel of the building today. The church is open every day to visitors and for private prayer.
The spire of St Mary’s, towering 205 feet into the air, can be seen from miles around as a welcome to worshippers and visitors. Our Cardigan Welsh Corgi needs a haircut. She is a fluff and her hair keeps growing. She needed a haircut almost a month ago and our groomers truck broke down, then the pandemic hit. We are going on 3 months now. Help!
