I am thinking black tern just for lack of any other knowledge of this bird. In a marshy area with plenty of bugs and cat tails. They were in fairly aggressive state. Must of been close to some nests.

The black skimmer (Rynchops niger) is a tern-like seabird.

The Pantanal is a tropical wetland and the world's largest wetland of any kind. The Pantanal ecosystem is also thought to be home to 1000 bird species, 400 fish species, 300 mammalian species, 480 reptile species and over 9000 different subspecies of invertebrates.

Echasse blanche / Black-winged Stilt

For "smile on saturday" and

"reflection on black"!

This is my first attempt to shoot reflection on a black background. I spent a lot of time on this task, but mostly cleaning up black smooth and shiny surfaces and mirrors. Even the dust dropped from the feather, so at the end I had to remove those tiny dust particles in Lightroom.
