Arriva Cymru operated a dozen Optare Tempos, both 12m and 12.6m variants, numbered 2860-71. These were funded by Welsh Government and allocated to Aberystwyth depot for what were then termed as TrawsCambria services down the Ceredigion coast. These included a pair that were new to First Cymru for Service X40 (Aberystwyth-Aberaeron-Lampeter-Llanybydder-Pencader-Carmarthen), which was initially a joint operated with Arriva.
The First Cymru pair were former 64501 & 64503 (YJ55 BJE & BJF), which transferred to Arriva as their 2870 & 2871 in 2010. They received corporate livery, though in a style that saw the black panels above the windows painted in aquamarine giving them a rather 'heavy' appearance.
2870 left the fleet in 2013 when Arriva pulled out of Ceredigion.
This August 2010 shot was taken in Swansea City Centre as she was crossing from Orchard Street on to The Kingsway when operating one of the short-lived Swansea extensions on Service X40.

It's not a secret that Russian tourism in Barcelona has been slightly reduced in the last years. The fall in value of the ruble, the political situation of the country and the emergence of cheaper and nearest holiday destinations in Turkey, Egypt or Greece are some of the reasons.

EH22 is seen at Leigham Court Road, Streatham Hill on route 333 to Tooting Broadway. This is the first classic Enviro400 / Hybrid appearance in many years.

The Grand Canyon walk was first established in 1907, taking walkers along the path of a canyon in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney, Australia. In places the track follows a path cut halfway up the cliff, keeping you out of the most dangerous section of the canyon. We (Myself, Matt Burman and Braydon Franklin) followed the creek back into the canyon where we stopped for a lunch break amongst the rugged beauty of this amazing part of the world. A serious hike that involved getting very wet and muddy but well worth it to experience the beauty of this incredible place.
