This weekend the thunder has well and truly rolled, the skies have lightened, the rain as poured, and the power has gone out.
I quite like the mid-summer storms, but Ruby isn't so keen... she just sits tight in her armchair with Sapphire and waits for it all to pass us by.

Sapphire is a 5cm Sphynx cat from BJD Pets
These two have a cute and complex relationship - Cinder always wants to play, but Sapphire has a short fuse. Sometimes she pins him down and licks his face... sometimes she bites. At the start of the game it's hard to tell how it will end...

My moody girl cat does the pose that Sapphire has here, but her arms splay out more than this, it's so cute :D

If you haven't seen this Alex Yaremchuk's work, he does these amazing dolls and pets with a 3-D printer. I believe he's based out of Russia--but his stuff is amazing!

Cinder was having a bit of a funny turn today and was crawling around under the chair like a spider-cat :D Then he started biting and bunny-kicking it. When i asked him what he was doing i got this face... ♥

Argh so it's Pullipcon this weekend and i'm so wanting to go but they sold out while i was looking at flights again. There is a lot of foot stamping and huffing around here right now and it's not just the dolls!
I need a UK dolly travel companion! I am hoping to go to BC Amsterdam instead in July, and then definitely BCUK in October.

Tabby is very pleased with the balloons she got at a friend's birthday party this afternoon. Nala is not too sure about them though!
Skylar received her gorgeous new collar (and leash, not pictured) from the awesome Maria Darkona today so I had to take a few pics. Sorry for the terrible quality, but it's so beautiful!

What are these things and are they alive?
Note: I switched to Edith's other head at this point. It was kind of terrifying, as the hook is just a bit of very light wire, easily bent out of shape. But it worked, and I like having the option. :)

Sea-blue/Rose-purple/Dark-gray/White
Casts will be done in environmental resin, so slight translucency possible.
Since the blue color was very popular, I decided to repeat it, may be not 100% the same but really near. Purple color will be a little different. Slightly darker and warmer.
What do you think about this choise of colors?
