A bit of winterly conditions on this morning: -3 celsius but the sun is already there!

Bit of flash experimentation with one of my favourite trinkets.

I did a reverse HDR focus stack. I first did the HDR and then the photostack for an experiment . Interesting as I think this image looks a bit 3D

Story behind: We are expecting heavy winds with whole gale in the gusts. Better to lay down the sign in a controlled way than let the storm do it uncontrolled.

Having a bit of Halloween fun with this old image of the iconic abandoned Guyett house in Southwestern Ontario. Sadly, this house was finally demolished. With the help of AI, I added some birds and a ghost in the upper window. Just having some pre Halloween fun!

This display presenting picture frame materials at the local crafts store caught my eye on Wednesday, 06 February 2019. That day the theme at We’re Here! was Mosaic!

A bit of luck and good timing as Union Pacific's MWCNP 03 (West Colton, California - North Platte, Nebraska) manifest and ARONSR 04 (Roper, Utah - NS Kansas City, Kansas) repo auto train pull side by side into North Yard in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 4, 2016.

UP 6781 has been routed along Main Track 3, the former Rio Grande main line to Ogden, Utah.

3 shots from morning of Sept 30th when we had a bit of sunshine.

It's macro time, some screwdriver bits....

A bit of colour for a change. Something I would like to do more often in the future. This was shot as 181 second exposure from north side of Humber Bridge at sunrise. Let me know what you think :) Thank you all for looking and as always appreciate all of your support.

lots to sort out in this photo taken from Brighton Palace Pier, my first attempt to use Photoshop for panorama

A Lee Valley annual delight , the Bittern , but a little different .

A bit of plodging was required to capture this composition, taken last November on the edge of buttermere. A bit of plodging was required to capture this composition, taken last November on the edge of buttermere.

A bit of brightness on a grey and windy day.

I love Ranunculus, densely layered, and this bloom opened beautifully, not always evident, their stems are extremely delicate and do tend to just collapse before the bud can open into a gorgeous voluptuous bloom...

For years I 'experimented' in the studio, to get that Flemish painter's light?

Well, I was born in Flanders, it must be in my blood? LOL.

With love to you and thanK you for ALL your faves and comments, M, (* _ *)

There were a couple of groups of people on Waterloo bridge the night before last trying to get this shot with mobile phones who asked me to send a photograph of the view - so here it is

(bit dark for iPhones)

Hope you don't mind--until I find my wandering feet again, my stuff is probably going to be a bit different. As you may have already noticed. ;-)

Images captured in the breathtakingly beautiful Urabandai area in Northern Japan.

A mild winter so far gave us the chance to witness these early December sceneries one month late.

This image was captured with the new Nikon 19mm tilt lens on the D810.

Bit of play in the studio and then with photoshop.

to quote 'Winnie the Pooh' ..."It looks like a rather blustery day, today!"

Mist clears off Loughrigg tarn

Bit of a Throwback Thursday shot here, (though only to 2013). On a beautiful, clear morning, Indiana Rail Road's 25th Anniversary unit, SD90/43MAC 9025, leads an empty coal train south on the Midland Sub towards Bear Creek Mine near Dugger, Indiana.

It has been a busy week for me, and it is finally only now that I have a precious bit of time to upload a new shot. It may take some time for me to upload the next shot, as I am currently in the middle of data migration to a new PC, with hopefully better Lightroom processing. In the meantime, like this lady vendor here at Maeklong Market, the time will pass by so fast before one knows it.

A bit different than my usual - but if you've been following me you've learned by now that's how I like it, different than my usual. I don't want to be penned in and constrained by a solitary style.

I haven't done a picture up of Katerina in a bit, what with one thing and another, and since I had to get her all gussied up for some holiday RP goodness, I figured, why not? Not too much done here, but I think sometimes the best pictures taken from SL are the ones that are beautiful when barely touched.

Kayotiq Lyric is Katerina Levoci, a Child of Khonsu vampire sometimes roleplayed at Convergence: The Lost City, an urban roleplay sim with post-apoc, futuristic themes.

Another bit of flash photography due to our recent inclement weather, I caught this Great Tit in such a position that it looks as if its hiding behind its wing...now you see me, now you don't! ;)

Herring Gull along the way to Port Mahon, Delaware.

Tolerant but a bit disgruntled.

After the first frost of the season. The flowers are still hanging on but barely and then a frost comes through.

Bit of a grab shot , but amazing to see .RSPB Strumpshaw Fen
