FeA female cardinal rests on a backyard perch, calm and unhurried, holding her place with the steady confidence these birds always seem to have. There’s no chase, no call, no flutter — just a quiet moment in soft light, the kind of everyday pause that makes backyard birding worth paying attention to.

This is a rather poor image technically, and the pylon spoiled everything. So I'm posting temporarily, until I manage to get a better shot. But I like the action and it shows the hardships that eagles have to endure once they catch the fish. I can confirm that the eagle at the top, who caught the fish, was able to fend off his challengers and got to enjoy his lunch.
Happy Quinta Flower.

Birds of prey, or raptors, include species of bird that primarily hunt and feed on vertebrates that are large relative to the hunter.
God gives every bird its food, but He does not throw it into its nest.

This robin built it's nest in the planter outside our front door. The eggs hatched a few days ago and there's been steady incoming worms to the babies.
