Some portrait shots in studio with our Bindi.

another photo of Bindi...

Not our Bindi, but a good look alike on an Australian stamp.

Taken with the 50mm @ F/8 and a Kenko 36mm extention tube.

Still my number 1 girl ((^_^))

I just feel as if I see things differently than most other people. Like, if they find the air cool, I’ll find it frigid. Or if they think of the grass as being wet and green, I’ll think of it as being dewy and emerald.

More often, I think I feel things stronger than others. While they may be sad over something they see on the news, I’ll be heartbroken. I’ll cry for hours. While they may feel “under the weather” one day, I’ll feel like I’ll never escape this pain I feel. While they may smile when being called pretty and then forget about it, I’ll remember it forever.

I feel like no one else understands how much it can hurt or heal to feel as if things happening to others happen to me 10000 times over, or things happening to myself make me feel so strongly that I could singlehandedly demolish my house and entire town with the explosives that weigh down my heart. I could easily chop down every tree in the world with my stubby fingernails alone I feel so much. I am strong and untouchable. Yet, incredibly weak. Fragile.

I guess I was just curious whether or not anyone else feels as I do.

Dance plays an important role in South Asian weddings, from pre-wedding rituals, to uniting the bride and groom and their families, to post-wedding celebrations enjoyed by the entire community. In this program, the National Women’s Dance Troupe of Sri Lanka will teach and showcase traditional wedding dances of Kandyan weddings in Sri Lanka. Aeilushi and Paulom Mistry will teach and showcase Garba dance from India and share the Guajarati adornment customs of henna, bindi, the saree for women and dhoti for men. Navdeep Matta will teach and showcase bhangra, a lively form of music and dance that originated in the Punjab region of India and Pakistan. Annie Ferdous and the Bangladeshi Institute of Performing Arts (BIPA) will showcase elements of Muslim and Hindu wedding ceremonies in Bangladesh and teach the Bangladeshi dhamail circle dance.

*Must be in a single-pet home

Bindi is a big teddy bear that loves affection and head scritches almost as much as he loves meal times. He has the most adorable little meow when it's time to eat; it sounds funny coming out of this tough looking kitty (think Mike Tyson).

He is a pretty chill cat that is easy to please. As long as he has wet food, naps and head scritches, he is a happy boy.

Bindi would prefer to be adopted into a single-pet home.

You are welcome to meet this attention loving boy and see if he is the right kitty for you.

It was a dreary week weather–wise in Snowdonia Wales last week.

But for one brief moment we saw blue skies, so I rushed out and got a photo of Bindi.

Five minutes later it was raining again!

We went to visit Mum and Dad today. I just love the mosaic floor they have in their hall.
