Motorcyclists posing in front of Parson's Motorcycle Shop located at 146 South Glassell Street in Plaza Square, Orange, California, 1913. 12 motorcycles (some among them identified as Indian models) and their riders are lined up in a group portrait along the street. Bertie Claypool, who was later killed by a gasoline explosion in the shop, is identified as the rider fifth from the right. Signage on the brick building in background reads "REPAIRING / & SUPPLIES", "MOTORCYCLES", and "ALL KINDS / OF VULCANIZING". Signage to the right of the motorcycle shop reads "[illegible] ROOMS / TO LET" and "PRESCRIPTIONS ACC[illegible]".

Leach-Biltwell Motor Co. of Los Angeles CA (1920-1923) used Continental engines until they were replaced by a new 100 HP Six designed by Harry A. Miller in mid-1921. The new engine featured overhead valves and an overhead camshaft.
