Giant 4K LED screens billboard in Piccadilly Circus

Maybe I should check my surroundings before stopping to rest!

Times Square. Arguably New York City's most crowded outdoor place. And rightfully so, as when you stand at any spot on that square your eyes are overwhelmed by the amount of light and information around you. A ton of billboards advertising anything that your mind can think of. And then you feel so small being surrounded by all these high rises. So much energy and vibe on this square. Even if it's 2.00 in the morning, there will be a ton of people wandering around and taking pictures. Maybe that's why they say New York is the city that never sleeps.

Rules of composition are made to be broken ;)

A billboard at the corner of Seventh Avenue and 42nd St. just outside of Times Square. There was something about the red truck and the girl that struck me as the photo to post of the ones I took. And I’ve always loved the question “what if?”

Sometimes there is a sign and sometimes there is a sign.

I hopw that makes sense.

Happy Saturday

‘Rainman’ decided to advertise his latest film using a mobile billboard; it appears not very mobile. He would have been better off hooking up to that lady’s buggy; at least it would be moving.

This picture was taken outside the Central Library, Manchester, UK.

Not only that huge billboard was removed since then but also the whole building was demolished.

This billboard seemed to be all aflutter with a wee bit of a sparkled from the diamond in the ring... one of the most delicate billboard images I've ever seen in... don't have a clue tho, who it represents.. must be a diamond jeweler in the city...

Sadly I was unable to get out with or without my camera over the weekend. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder is an unpredictable beast that hijacks your plans and life. It is a disorder that also tends towards self-blame but, in a positive step from previously, I am not blaming myself for not getting out. Small wins are just as important as the large ones.

I'll try to take some photographs in the garden this week as I prepare and plan my vegetable garden for the coming spring. No pressure upon myself to do so though. Baby steps.

Take care everyone, whatever you love to take pictures of in this world.

As a record to myself this is re-upload number 2 before appearing in your update feeds due to an ongoing Flickr issue.

An Indian casino 60 miles away advertises the tribe's environmental awareness in Chinatown, home to lots of casino goers.

A CSX local powered by an SD40-2 from Charleston's Bennett Yard heads towards the Peninsula. That the Billboard is not what it seems is coincidental.

Shot in Soho in Manhattan. Billboard posters like these can seen in many parts of the city esp in Manhattan. Many Manhattanites don't approve of them because they block their view of the street. Others find them distasteful and offensive because some of them border on pornography, esp the Calvin Klein ones,as far as they're concerned and they don't want their children being exposed to them. Some landlords however like them because they promote business.
